EF 2v2 Tournament 2

Sweet, Friday it is, and although I'm completely confident that I'm gonna get knocked out in the first round i'm sure its gonna be fun :D

There will be a loser's bracket IIRC, that way if you're knocked out from the start you still get to play a little.

Ok, why don't we just make a big post there when we release? Maybe they will have players who like team play better than 1v1s

Don´t think so. But maybe they will play on both tourneys...

We should worry first for the stuff that comes before the tourney first. We(Devs) can take care of the post on GR, don't worry about it, but we need to settle everything else before thinking in announcements ;).

btw the teams which fight against in the first round will been known at the 25th?

For most plp the holidays did end already, there are only 4 days left and the patch isnt out yet, at the same weekend there is a gr tournament that will attract more plp than EF can do.
I recommend to move the date at least one week ahead

yeah maybe this is the better way
i think we should also gain all players the chance to test new strats with our patch changes. maybe only 1-2 days arent enought

Yes we'll have to postpone til next weekend. Starting date is now Friday 2 September. The tourney will run throughout the weekend and will not have fixed times to play. Instead, you will have to arrange to play your games within the time allocated for each round. Everyone who has signed up so far, please confirm that you can make this new date.

Signups for new players will close on the Wednesday beforehand.

Brits are extremely broken in 2v2s. I was originally going to include RMC but they need quite a lot of work too.

age requirement is the requirement to play this game. How good you are doesnt matter, its for fun. You shouldt at least play some pl vs pl matches too look at how things are going
