Eastern Front Download and Installation Guide

hi i have ad downloaded version of opposing fronts and i patched it to 2.602. i tried applying the crack of tales of valor but it later asks me to insert opposing fronts disk pls help cause i really wat eastern fronts mod

P.S.-i have the original reliccoh.exe and the other .dll files so i can undo the crack.

I think that you have a pirate version and because of that just get out of the internet and then run the game.
press continue in the message it gives you and then you can play it.
But if you have a cracked version you should better buy it from steam. its really cheap  ;)
If you dont have a cracked version insert coh Opposing Fronts disk and just play it.  :)

do u know where i can get a good crack.i used tales of valor crack but it asked for opposing fronts disk.i have v2.602 but there is no crack for company of heroes:opposing fronts v2.602 crack. pls help cause i really wanna play as soviets.

and i cant buy the steam version cause my parents wont let me.

There's no crack for 2.602 AFAIK, besides, if we don't support privacy what makes you think we are going to help you on that quest.

EDIT: And enrique didn't get help from us, besides offering a ToV key as gift. He fixed it by himself.

Perhaps your parents dont have enough money to buy it original... I would offer my help however I'm currently broken :P. We follow our rules and we do not help to run EF with cracked versions of CoH so no help atm.

If you somehow fix it to work, great for you, but we are not going to help you on this. Btw, we are not going to ban anyone for talking about this, unless posting links to related sites and present recurrent tendencies to bring that topic on.

you can buy a steam version of coh without your parrents. just go and buy a PaySafe (3x10euros if you want to buy all Coh packet) card from your market.just dont say to your parents nothing. thats what i did ;)

You need to install Eastern Front in your company of heroes directory and not in any other self made folder, just as this guide where you posted says.

Also, you need to have the actual game, at lease the original CoH, Opposing Fronts or Tales of Valor; Eastern Front alone is not going to run.

Im done with this dum ass mod. its done nothing but cause problems and not download. i try and click play and nothing happens. check for updates doesnt work either it just tells me that the source didnt respond. i dont know what an exe is and i dont know how to download mods. is there anyone that knows what there talking about

Wow buddy you need to chill and stop trolling, this a place of fun and enjoyment (for most of us at least). I can assure most of us aren't homosexuals, I know absolutely nothing about computers myself, you don't really need to know anything about them to install this mod, and finally chances of you having either friends or girls is quite low considering that you are acting like a rabid shit-bag (excuse my French s'il vous plaît).

Anyway this is all you have to do in lame man's terms:

Step 1: Make sure your CoH is updated to version [IP address redacted] (pretty sure that's the most recent version). If you have a hacked game or something else that is technically considered illegal, don't bother downloading this mod because it won't work in general and we do not provide support to people who aren't willing to buy a game that at maximum should cost $15.

Step 1.5: Please inform the kind people here of your computer's basic specs: What Windows version are you using, what brand of graphics card, etc. If you don't know how to access this then go to Control Panel scroll down and find the button that says Systems under it and look there.

Step 2: Go to this link _full.exe]http://www.gamefront.com/files/20714522/EF_Setup[IP address redacted]_full.exe and press the large Download Now button.

Step 3: When it finishes downloading go through the whole bloody installation process. If it doesn't work after that, then please tell us what occurs, if you get anything that says error, etc. and tell us what numbers letters etc come after the error, it would be even nicer if you can provide a lovely picture.

I've long wanted to buy a CoH license, but does not work. But is not the case. On hamachi I was able to play in the original CoH , but in EF does not work.

illegal versions of CoH will not be tolerated here!

If you decide to follow that path, I would use Tunngle rather than Hamachi, but don't expect to get any way of support to help you on that ;). At least not on these forums.

If you click on 'About' in the Eastern Front launcher you should see this... EF version is circled in red.



I'm not sure if older versions of the launcher have this. If you don't see it, you probably have an older version of EF.

my launcher doesn't have game version.just launcher version and author and website shown there.

btw if I download the full version of EF 1.6(the 1 gb).do I need previous versions?

No previous install required with 1GB install, full version comes with everything you need.

You need to uninstall your current EF version, make sure all Eastern Front files and folders are deleted, then reinstall the Full Version of EF 1.601.

You need to run it with admin rights, also you need to have installed .NET Framework 3.5 otherwise is not going to run.

AFAIK you need version 2.602 TOV not sure for OF, i think OF also has 2.602 patch.

Yea it says it can't find COH i bought both tales of valor and the reg. one i tried to do what the pic says and i pasted that into there but it said it could not find that folder/place then i restarted and said same thing. What do i do?
