If Zombie apocalypse really happended, it's pretty easy to have a tank to get in and make some wild actions(at least in post Soviet countries like mine). The real difficulty is when you have to live in a post (Zombie) apocaplyse, noone want to be your GF, no Internet Porns, harder to find food, completely change of the neighborhood etc... Boring, lonely and desperate will make you suffer before the inevitable dead :(

DON'T WORRY! in 1 week, you can fly to the nearest post-soviet countries and buy lots of tanks and APC and maybe a Soviet zeppelin in Red Alert 2 (if it even existed). Best choices until now are cruise ships (too expensive but comfortable :P), tanks (too slow but some has anti-nuke ability) and a big ass zeppelin(when you run out of fuel, you and still fly(or float)) :D

i see your point fish.it is a good idea, and feasible too. @tankbuster, if the crew were zombies, you could lure them out by starting as police siren or some other loud noise outside the aircraft carrier.

Back to the zombie apocalypse, I have always thought that holding up in a self-storage center would be ideal. Hundreds of brick and steel, individually locked units could provide shelter and protection for myself, friends, and all the useless crap I will hord when everyone else is infected. Here in California I am close to good appliance stores, Camp Penalton, (a huge USMC base) and I am very handy when it comes to living off the land. Another vialbe option would be an off shore oil rig.
Ostheer is a new German faction for this mod.
It will be done when it is done.
Keep mapping and modeling.
Tell a friend about EF.

The key is moving to a far Eastern country that has epic beaches. Or you can install a flux capacitor in an old Delorean and reach 88 miles per hour (141km/hr). I've heard wormholes with the Hadron collider work too but I haven't personally tried that one yet.
