Guess the game

Hmm how about this one guys. This is a game series I still play despite its age, it has become a cult classic for me.

I think the title of the picture gives away the game XD

Perhaps romance of the 3 kingdoms?  :P

well its definitely romance of the three kingdoms, which one however, is hard to tell. there are so many of those games.

I wanna see if you can figure which one it is, there are only 11 of them >:D

Alex is quite right, it is Romance of the Three Kingdoms 10 (and my personal favorite of the series)

How about this lovely game, I still recall being 8 and playing it with my friends.

And bonus points if you can name the main character's Species, be particular or else Death won't give you any more lives. 

That'd be Conker: Live and Reloaded (although could be the original- Bad Fur Day, but I think his eyes were green in that one ), with that being " The Great Mighty Poo " boss. Species: Poo. If I remember correctly you defeat him by throwing toilet roll into his mouth!

Friend of mine showed a video of his song moderately recently, hence why I guessed this correctly!  :)

Not bad speed, but I was asking for the main character's species not the Great Mighty Poo's which any man could have guessed to be a giant ..... well turd.....

Ah yes was on here late at night, brain wasn't in gear and I wasn't reading properly!

Conker is a red squirrel, although he's 1/128th vampire (apparently), due to some distant relative.

Damn... i know this game, i also played this game so much, but i do not remember name of this game :(.

Nope, not Micro Machines  :P glad some people have played the game I'm referring to though, it's a great game

No he isn't a red squirrel, sir, you are quite wrong. He is a Sodding Squirrel. Ah I was terribly wrong. I do love the humour in the game, although I don't suppose Death will be wanting a kitten for christmas eh  :P

I do wonder where all the good games have gone. In my opinion games of that era were some of the best, unmatched by those made nowadays. I suppose there's not many new ideas- most things have already been done.

Well that's the problem, many of the greatest ideas have already been tried and some ended up utterly horrid which is why few people want to touch them, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty being my prime example great idea, horrid execution, if I were to get a team up and running I would make a game very similar, but add some extra things to make it so much better (other than the graphics, which would of course be better with better hardware.)

Trust me I have had a thousand ideas for good games, some of which are begging to see life in the hands of men with more expertise than I. For example I thought of the idea of a game similar to  Heroes and Generals back when I was in 5th grade, I even had the whole thing on paper, however I lacked the means to execute my idea. The best ideas are still around its just not all of us can make them happen.

Hell I would have loved to see the sequel to Conker, but chances of that happening are slim to none, according to Rare themselves

Well, i've played many similar games to yours but this one, i have never played. (amiga...mmmm...)

Im sure not too many people have played it. My friend's brother had a small library of sega games back in the day so I played alot of wierd stuff. Ill take a couple more guesses then ill tell you so as not to hold up the conversation.

This is just a shot in the dark cuz I havent played it in a long time but is it Chrono Trigger?

Nurp it is not Chrono Trigger, since you guys are quite stumped, I will tell you.

The game is SaGa Frontier, and the reason I gave you a hint of Final Fantasy Legends is because technically speaking, that was the first game in the SaGa series, with SaGa Frontier being the first SaGa game being released outside of Japan after the release of Final Fantasy Legends III (which was September 29, 1993 in America). Speaking of which they have a Nintendo DS remake of FFL II which I might just get If I finally decide to get of my ass and get a FREE Game Emulator on my comp.
