Official EF Mumble up (Like Teamspeak/Vent)

Hey Eastern Front Fans,

We got a mumble server for you to join up to organize or play games.
Or just drop in here to talk to developers.
Don't have a microphone? That's alright, just use the chat instead.

Yep! This is good at communicating with our allies during team games.

Channels can be Created by users but by normal users it will be deleted as soon as everyone has exited.

Don't worry about not speaking good english! Soon we will have separate language rooms for each of the major supported languages of Eastern Front.

We should add that this server is also intended to be used for the upcoming tourney. This way players can communicate with each other. Server will be extended to 1000 users capacity

Can you elaborate on these servers. I have no idea what a mumble server is.

Mumble is Teamspeak on Steroids basically. Better Quality, More Options and Free.

Most modern laptops have a microphone. Some monitors do and some earphones do. I use my Apple Earphones with the Mic and Volume control.

On Win7 it's

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mange Audio Devices > Recording

If you don't see a Microphone listed then you don't have one.

Does your little mouth icon light up when you talk? If not you may be set to push to talk or your voice activation threshold is too high. Your volume on your mic may also be too low.

Guys sorry for bothering, but where do i find the server, I'm up to the part where it says Mumble server connect, and I'm just unsure of what to press or type

EDIT: In a more concrete question what country is your server in? I've looked through United Kingdom's and America's servers but nothing that I saw looked like a server for Eastern Front

Increases the sensitivity of the microphone.

Options/Sound settings wizard -> now in five step there red/yellow/green belt. There is a slider and you have to move it more to left side. Hope this will helps you.

Hi! :) New here

I downloaded mumble. NO Idea how to make it work. It makes me pick servers signified by countries.

I don't see the IP thing.

I want to play Multiplayer but I see games and they have passwords.

Server -> Connect -> Add New... -> :

Label -> write name of server, for example "EF"
Address -> voice.easternfront.org
Port -> 64738
Username -> Fishhunterx

I think that it should help you. See you in the mumble bro. :)

EDIT: If people will not hear you, click Configure -> Audio Wizard -> choose there your mic and step by step finish it.

Hey this may sound like a dumb question but how do you change your name on Mumble? Mine currently says "Fish". I want to change it to "Fishhunter" or something like that. Also, how do you add a image to your mumble name? (I happened to have seen neos with a KV tank as a image ;))

The mumble server is based off of Rizz's CPU. If his CPU isn't on then mumble is offline
