cannot update, or play

Eastern Front just refuse to update, Easter front says its updated, but when i click about it says its version [IP address redacted] rather then the 1.4 it should be. The launcher says its the mods up to date, but I also can not play the mod at all, as the second i Order troops to take my first point, bang, the game freezes in a loop were the last seconds of audio repeats foreaver. (there likely a technical name for it but i do not know it)

I have the new reward units, but given how fast the dang game freezes I have never used them.

also I tried updating useing 1.4 patcher from here:

But that did not work either even though i followed all the instructions.

so whats up with my game, and How can i fix it?

The version of the launcher has nothing to do with Eastern Front version.

Your game crashes in that way because you don't have enough virtual memory. In this link you can check how to do it:

thanks, how much vitual memory do I need?

[IP address redacted] is the launcher version rather then the EF version.
