Update Button Crashes Launcher

Whenever I click the update button it gives me the bug report form, and when I fill it out and click send it says it can't send it and Windows Task Managers comes up and terminates the program. I have downloaded the launcher patch, but the updater doesn't work for me. I'm running Windows XP with the Steam version of CoH. The mod ran fine before the patches, but the updater never worked. Help.  :-[

I just tried to update again, and I got the same result.
