Soviets Overpowered? Not that much.

How can everyone say "Ohh the soviets are sooo overpowerd" Well, how?

T34 < StugIV Vet0
Conscripts < Volks Vet0
Strelky (upgrade) < Grenadiers Vet0/MG42
Guards(!!) < Volks + MP40
IS-2 < 3 PAK/2 Panzer IV

How are they overpowered?

Spam, and more spam... three days old and they are already talking about a patch to fix the faction...This is a good mod team and I respect them and all they do for makin this game better

And several other things that made them almost invincible if played right. But now it's patched so don't make unnecessary threads about it.

3 paks and 2 pz4 vs IS-2 thats 2680 manpower and 160 fuel compared to 500 manpower and 150 fuel, how is that a fair comparison??

And fyi, head to head

T-34 > Stug - stug cant rotate it's tower so the T-34 has time to encircle it.
Guards > mp40 volks - they just throw a grenade and bye bye volks.

(Before the patch) by the time you had one volks and a pio the soviets could have 3 conscripts, 2 ingenery 1 command unit and half the map captured + access to light tanks.

2, How in the Holy Mother of God can you get tanks in 1 minute? 1 Volks and 1 Pio? WOW.

1 Compare the fuel which is needed and compare the other units buildable at the same buildings. Whats with circle the stug?
2 200mp against 280, for 600 MP you get 3 cons and only 2 volks
3 again compare fuel cost and the ammo cost
4 don't rush them, kite them, use cover
5 For gods sake, paks are dedicated antitank weapons. Don't charge them, kill them with inf, your mortar or something else

not sure if u noticed but before the patch the build times of the soviet infantry were to fast. that and their capping speed is what made them dominate the map in the first few mins.

and he was actually right on it, by the time you have your wq up and your first volks pops out, he would have 2 engies, conscript, and a command squad, and the second conscripts would be halfway done. good thing its been looked at and fixed now, now there not as fast in the early game
