"Eastern Front does not appear to be installed on your system"

So this error happens everytime when i tried to run eastern front launcher.I tried to reinstall it but didnt fixed the problem so i checked Launcher log
it seems theres problem with registry
I suspect Eastern Front Installer (that i downloaded from Moddb) failed to create one

I'd suggest to reinstall, but make sure you give the installer Admin rights to run. Otherwise it won't be able to write in the windows registry.

did it and its still gives me that error

I'm not sure about it, but as far as I can remember, the launcher no longer uses the registry entries, so I was thinking you are using an old version of EF or perhaps the installer wasn't replaced correctly when updating. Anyway, I can only suggest you create a shorcut. That will fix your problem but you won't use the launcher.

isnt [IP address redacted] is newest version?

I'm not sure if the newer launcher had it's version number updated. But IIRC last time I talked with Rizz about the registry thingy for the launcher, it was not required anymore thus the error was not supposed to appear again.

We are moving into Steam soon, so we are going to discontinue the launcher anyway.

i can wait few months more  ;)

Try adding the following to steam launch options of CoH:

-dev -mod Eastern_Front -nomovies

then launch the game normally through steam
