How to enable direct fire?

I have been trying like crazy for 4 hours to add direct fire to tanks.I saw this option in the blitzkrieg mod so i wanted to include it in easternfront i found this forum topic and i followed every step(http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?222799-How-To-Adding-Direct-Fire-to-any-unit) and it wont work could you please help me to somehow add it?

I have used that tut before to add direct fire, and it works; So you must be doing something wrong on your end.

to be exact my problem starts at step number 4 when i load the sbps the squad_ability_ext\abilities\ doesnt exist so i try making this path but nothing happens.Personally i give up if anyone succceeds please post a how to video for others to see.

It's not a path you have to create! In a squad file for example grenadier_squad.rgd there's a "squad_abilty_ext".

thats correct but most vehicles dont have the  squad_ability_ext for example m8 greyhound and is 2 dont have it while kv-1 has it for some reason.

Then just copy/paste one and clean it. Some units don't have it because it is not needed.

i have already tried that with the m8 greyhound also i tried with kv-1 which already had all the files i followed all the instructions saved it but ingame it doesnt work.
