@Zak(ODUA) Writing things like this is not polite ,how about I speak to you as an "IVAN" or "RED BEAR" . You must understand the ways of public forums  and try not to insult the other people nationality , I 'm Greek , I 'm not German by the way but I respect my fellow team members and all the people who are trying for a good result in this mod work. I must say then even on other team members is Greek we never write in our native language, here , and I never saw any of the Germans to do the same in their native language.

I think he did not want to offend anyone. This word was very popular during the Second World War and still live. It is not so offensive on Russian as "schwab", for example.

This is interesting :) Do you know that only Americans call themselves as Yankees? Ukrainians and Russians call their as Pindos/Amerikos (from Greek Πίνδος).


originally, this word meant Greeks from the Pindus mountain range and Pontic Greeks. Southern nations of the Russia Empire used this word to Greek colonists. It's not polite to use the word 'Fritz' same as kraut, jerry etc. You just shouldn't use them.

@UeArtemis Yes I know all the things you wrote ,I'm very familiar with European History , but as far as I can judge from translation I think he mean it like this way. He use it in 3rd person and in present tense not in past tense and he mean our Mod team . And By the way Greek is the official English word for my people , the most accurate is Hellenic ,or Hellenes and my country is Hellas , Greek is from the Turkish word Grekos , the servant , the peasant , it was a word that was used in Othoman Empire and the English language was borrowed it by the Latin/Italian Greko . Is someone watch the resent Eurobasket  2009 in Poland the shirts of our national team write HELLAS.

I can understand the meaning ,ether, I make a question about if you like pronounce with  names etc etc. About "your mother", I assumed that you did not meaning anything !!!!!

"Your mother" on Russian mean something like "Oh, my god!" or "Damn". It is from "fuck your mother". This is not a offense for a concrete person in this case, it is a filthy language without a meaning. Perhaps I should have used word "Damn".
