Disruptive glitching

Greetings comrades!

I've had a ball of a time with this gem of yours, driving with strength the facist invaders from Soviet soil. But two days ago, a new unidentified threat suddenly arose. Every map is glitching terribly, hurling textures everywhere at rapid speed making it impossible to focus on the battle properly.

I have tried reinstalling Eastern Front, and I always run the game as an administrator and at the lowest graphics possible. Here are some screenshots of the dreaded enemy, not to be bested by bullets. Pardon me, I do not know how to make images smaller and I have not seen a spoiler option on this forum.



Also, I have heard tell of upgrading conscripts with an NKVD. As in an NKVD officer to keep the maggots in line? I have not seen the option for this upgrade in any building, on any unit or in any tech tree. Give me a hand and tell me how to better control my forces!

This is definitly an issue with your graphics card/driver.

As I feared... Strange how it was just fine two days back. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Low your resolution a bit and test :).

I remember getting those bugs when I overclock my graphics card to high.

It worked! The game is now functioning as normal. The resolution was up at 1300x720, for some reason... Now, for my remaining question, what does the NKVD upgrade for the conscripts do and where can I get it? To be frank, the only upgrades/abilities I have seen on the fresh recruits are weapon reserves and molotov cocktails.

There is not such upgrade.
Post here where you find that info so it can be changed :)

"Propaganda War Strategy
This doctrine gives you a mix of abilities that promote mass infantry, defensive positions and artillery. Use this doctrine together with Conscripts, and give them the NKVD upgrade, and mix those with stationary support weapons, like the Heavy Mortar or ZIS-2 AT-Guns. Artillery Firebases are a good fuel investment, although you should also get some tank support, SU-85s work well, even better with the SU-100 upgrade. Use Katyushas in groups and be careful with the God of War."
