IS 2 balance

Seems that IS2 cannon is still useless, why this was not fixed in the new patch?

Must have been overlooked, you fixing this anytime soon??

It's a pretty serious balance concern that the IS-2 cant even engage a Stug in combat anymore=/

I was looking foward to destroying the German Kittens.  >:( Oh and let me ask, does the IS-2 have same pen/better pen/ lesser pen than a Firefly and does it have better damage/lesser damage/same damage?

Hmm, the penetration is about the same( or is it??) but it does more damage.

Although in its current state the IS-2 do hardly any damage at all, the PTRD do more damage when it penetrates Stugs for example=/

Well on 1.6 my IS-2s 3-4 Shot the Stugs and the Reward Unit. About the same number of shot for the Panzer IV also and 1-2 more shots for a Panther. IDK how much shots the Firefly take to destroy these units. And yeah, IS-2 right now is total crap. MUST FIX.

Since there will be a tournament going and all, will anything be done to fix the IS-2 ???

Since it cant really fight any vehicles with its crappy cannon :(

The IS-2 should be buffed !
In fact the IS-2 kicked even Tiger Is ass because it had more armour (with better sloping)
and the 122mm gun was doing a lot more damage than the Tiger's 88m.
I want to see a realy good IS-2 in the game that can defeat Panther and Tiger.

@WLENIN The thing is, the IS-2 cannons poor damage isnt a nerf, its a bug. either its the cannons stats or its the german vehicles recieved damage thing that is wierd.

The 122mm cant damage stugs, but it sometimes scores a full damage hit on the WH AC.

Good point. Maybe hotfix is coming in next days :)

yes there will be a last hotfix for the is2
the low damage is a bug which must definetly be fixed for the tournament :D

and why couldn t you fix it by now?

internaly its already fixed and the patch will be released in the next days

Hmmm, played a skirmish earlier today and i noticed something about the Shermans damage against WH ACs and stugs. The sherman seems to be suffering from the same bug as the IS-2 right now. :'(

Can anyone confirm this ???

Confirmed and fixed. Just in time before the new patch is released :P.

Ive seen issues similiar (non EF related).  Not that this has much to do about EF, but I was playing around in Worldbuilder, I put down the Tiger Ace tank from the 'Autry' Mission, and played around with it myself (it didn't have the armor or health and abilities in the campaign) and one thing I also noticed is that it had taken forever to kill a Sherman or M8 (it has a weird bug that makes its damage much lower)
