Hello Eastern Front fans!

It is this time of the year once more! How fast the time goes... the Mod of the Year 2012 is here! We are at the Top 100 competition right now, let's advance to the next round!

You can cast your vote a single time for any mod you like, so it is not limited to one mod only.

Thanks to your support we have been around one year more and in a way to say thanks, we have prepared some surprises for the next days, but right now we will unveil this: We are now on Steam Greenlight!



Probably there are some players than already heard about it. To check our project, you can visit this link. You must be logged in to vote though. Remember, Eastern Front will remain free regardless it goes live on Greenlight.

Right now we are trying to set up everything for the Beta, in order to be started this month, however, we have too many things to do and very few time to commit... we'll do our best guys ;). Also, we have some models finished, than I'm sure a lot of players were expecting to hear of them:



Also, we would like to wish good luck to our brothers from Modern Combat, Blitzkrieg Mod, ZombieMod, Afrika Mod, The Great War.

Congratulations on the top 100, here's hoping this goes far.

Kinda wish I saw this was on Greenlight earlier (Posted Oct 25, 2012?), makes me feel slow. Voted 'yes' and all that.

The green light was Posted as Hidden, while we sorted things out, until just a few days ago.

Votted before 2 days for the mod  for mod of the year  :P

What's up with the whining about mods on the greenlight comments btw? Hell, what is greenlight anyway?? :-\

No idea, prospective Indie devs seem to think we're threatening their future, because you know, we're making millions from this free mod and we shouldn't be there taking all their money pie.

I don't quite understand Steam Greenlight though? Is it so that EF is available for download off of steam? That'd be cool.

Open beta isnt this year imo  ;D

It is not open beta XD... it is closed beta, but we will give access to a lot of people for testing.

No point in an OPEN Beta, that's basically making the mod public in an unfinished state. Soviet v1.0 was more like an open beta, and we all know how much of a success that was :P

is just a joke. I voted because I like this mod  :P

I'm not one for rushed products, but open / closed beta aside I sure do hope you intend to release Ostheer in say, juanuary at the latest, seeing as how CoH 2 is do to come out in Q1 2013.

Either way, voted for best mod and whatnot.

I know that 1st is closed beta, but it is not for everyone and I didnt expect that he will be invited in closed beta, so I talk about  "open beta"
