Little question on tanks!!

guys, why leave more tanks from eastern front mod? miss jumbo, kw-85 and other...  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

KV85 might return later, it is up to how can be balanced. Jumbo won't be added, because it has no place in US trees and we weren't sure it would be a better reward for the Pershing.

IMO the Sherman 105 should be taken out but that is apparently just me ::)

Sherman 105 is better than croc IMO.

I still miss my KV-85s. Also I thought the IS-2 got a buff from the update. Why does it take alot of hits to destroy a single, unarmored truck.

Someone made a mistake coding one of the tables for ISU2. It is known and will be fixed.

I miss the KV85 as well, but am finding the KV1 in Breajthru a delight to play with. It is different and difficult to micro but delightful none the less. I will be interested to see if the Pz III or 38T can run rings around it long enough to KO one. Otto Carius' gunner had to put three 37mm shells through the barrel of one once to stop it. With his 38T! Muhuhaha.

Thats the problem. Its good. TOO good. Its good to the point of border line OP IMO. It deals with infantry and tanks equally effectively for less cost and an MG.

If you dont like the sherman 105 and want your croc's back, just go into: rewards - vehicles and deselect it.

I agree the option should remain.

Fish is right that it seems OP but only compared to the awful croc. You would be idiotic to use the croc over the 105mm. However, I think the 105 is reasonably balanced but it can just deal with a lot more targets than the croc.

KV-1 is my Mainstay. I deploy KV-85s for my premiere heavy tank. That is for breakthrough though. If Im going other doctrines I'll gladly pick T-34s over the KV series and use an IS-2.

LOL Im not ignorant about COH. I know I can deselect it  ::). The problems is everyone else has the 105 selected. And that SOB can take on Panzers when it really should NOT be able to. Its supposed to be a super powerful Anti Infantry tank, not a round house tank. That what the Sherman is for.

its ROF is quite slow though, and isnt that good in close range, to effectivly use the 105, you need to keep it at range with shermans infront and if you really want to hit the axis hard, you put acouple of m10's in the middle. the 105 is a support tank after all and is meant to be somewhat allround because its not something you would put on point.

its like a weak KV-2.

@blackbishop sorry but JUMBO was reward for CALLIOPE and not for PERSHING :) Jumbo is good tank...i think is better add again.

Didn't quite fit with the calliope. Everyone wants rockets, not slow shermans.

I know JUMBO was reward of the CALLIOPE, just said it was removed because it wasn't as good as the latter. Also I said the only way to add it was as reward of the PERSHING, but we weren't sure than that was a good idea.

i'm happy if eastern front team add again JUMBO because don't was bad...i ask now this...is possible? i see other mod and all have JUMBO. but i like eastern front and with this tank is more complete for my idea.

if all the other mods have the jumbo why does this one need to?

Because some people believe that they are entitled to bark out orders, just because its them, and they are the royal garbage of their own little world.

Some others believe uniformity is key to success, and I can't agree with that.

Either way, it isn't going to be put back in. Honestly the only reward unit for an Artillery tank is another Artillery tank, so either a Sexton or Priest or something of the sort. But then we wold have to make therm shoot damn fast to take place of the Calliope.... So NO!!

Sure. Jumbo definitely belonged in the spot of the Calliope which is a piece of artillery and the best unit of one of the Americans, contested only by 105MMs. You're definitely right.

Good luck VS PaKs, Shrecks, and 88s which you can no longer barrage.

It's like trying to replace the OBR with a reward unit KV-85 :D

i think the option to get the jumbo would be nice, but definatly not to replace the calliope O.O

maybe as a optional replacment for the m10 or something but if you have it it takes an awfully long time to get like the IS-2
