[vCoH] IntoTheFrey(Americans) vs. SchwesterSven(Wehr) Lowlands PLEASE TIPS

Hey guys, in this game i think i did pretty good or the enemy was just bad. But i think this is one of my best games. but the main reason for this replay is because i want TIPS ON HOW TO IMPROVE

ALL tips are welcome. Make me into a better player please!

Here are some comments + tips:

-You blob your files too much. If he had an MG (and IDK why he didnt) you would not have done so well
-IDK about the choice to get 3 engineers (as I dont really play this map) but I personally only get 2
- You got a Supply Yard and then a WSC. Stick to one of the other. Dont get both but no Motor Pool. Yeah he had a sniper but you could have gotten a Jeep.
- You dont utilize cover at all
-You tried base rushing him with Stags only to lose both. If a shreck is firing at you kite him.
-You bought a sniper and did nothing with it
-You didnt use mines and had 400+ muni
-You dont get a triage center
-Should have been aggressive with Sherman
-5 rifles and no upgrades?
-ALWAYS pick up dropped weapons

Overall you made ok tech choices but ur micro could use work

Thanks man!!! When playing CPU i always use cover but i guess i think to much when playing online and seem not to use it. I did attack with Sherman because i was going to win with points not annihilate. I was going to counter sniper his sniper but i never really saw it. Wasn't really worried about rifle upgrades because i seemed to always push his infantry back.

What i just said was to help explain what i did or didn't do not to insult you or say anything about your tips but to explain what i did or didn't do and why

When I said be aggressive with Sherman I meant keep attacking him (and possibly his base) with it. You let it sit on a bridge for the rest of the game. Thats not aggressiveness that's defensive. The best defense is a good offence. If he is constantly fighting you he cant cap VPs.

Didn't watch your replay but lets say before a half year I was on your skill lvl.
So I will write you some more general tips that will help you.

COH is outsmarting game. What I mean ? - You are playing against another human , so you need to do unexpected things which will confuse him.
Here is a little example - Maps always have a big cutoff strategy point or a High Fuel point or both.  You can concentrate your power there with the start of the game.
Making your enemy to fight for his cutoff point so early in the game will give him alot of pressure. And in the same time you can cap with your 3rd unit (for example).
And he will be without any resours income for a 1-2-3-4 minutes (it depends how much you can fight in front of his base). This fight will give you more and more advantage with every single second your are holding.

2nd part of outsmarting the enemy is flanking his units and getting his units out of cover with nades or molotovs or some kind of artilery.
Dont just rush to the enemy positions with blobed infantry.  One good placed MG will stop all of your units and you may lose the game because of this unwise attack.

3th part is to predict his moves. I still cant do this but here you can help yourself with scouting his base. It is important to know what is your opponent teching to know how to counter him.

Here is something that I really need to learn too - try to set ambushes at important points on the map - high fuel for example. Place mines to cover you and get ready to charge with your infantry from multiple directions.

Be adaptable - if your opponent is rushing hard one of the map parts you go to another part and dont fight were he want to fight. Flank him from more than 1 directions and destroy his defensive line.

And the last part is typing GG! You should realize yourself what you should have done to get better result even when you won that match!
Just keep playing against human players, so you can naturally improve micro and strategy sense. Other tips won't help you much now.
