US airborne infantry drop short 1 men

I've come accros some odd problem with the airborne in eastern front.
When I call them in, I sometimes get a squad thats already lost 1 soldier, while there isn't any enemy near, neither do you hear a 88 or wathever else that can shoot objects in mid air firing..

Its just a small problem, but still. Thought I should let you all know.
If more people have had similar problems, I suggest you reply on this topic so the developpers can look in to it.
No point for them spending time on this if nobody else is having problems with this.

Do you have a replay or screenshot of that? The devs prefer if you have some substantial proof of this, not just a few words on it.

PE's Armoured Cars and WH's Skdfz. 234 ACs can shoot paradroping targets as well.

Take into account when you drop them near non-traversable objects or terrain (houses, thick treelines, water), the airfantry that's supposed to land there does not spawn.

I've got a replay of a game where I tested it and 4 out of 14 airborne units called in had only 5 men instead of 6.
I'm now trying to get it on line somehow. Anyone got a good way of doing this?

I won't be on-line tonight so the replay will only be on-line somewhere tomorrow evening.

As I was unable to find any working screen record software I've just taken a screenshot of the a paraunit I just called in, still in mid air, but already with only 5 men.

The dropzone is in my own base, no buildings or any other solid stuff in the neighbourhood..

I called in as many para's as I could get every time in that same area.
From the 18 drops, 4 only had 5 men.

So as you can see, this is a rare glitch, but still its a glitch.
Just wanted to point this thing out, but don't think it needs to get any priority.
Its something that should only be tried to fix if there's some spair time. It can't hinder the bigger, more important development of the mod such as the ostheer.

May I suggest you take any of the recorded games you have in which you have seen this, throw into a .ZIP file and then post it up here. It may not work for all of us, but for most of us it would work.

Are you sure the missing ones weren't killed by the plane or got stuck on the plane :P?

This issue seem to be a Relic one, not from EF. But I'll see what I can do.

I'm sure none of them was killed before landing, they just drop short one unit.
I don't believe anything could shoot all the way across the map and make a 1shot kill...

Don't mind the noobish gameplay. was just trying to get as many para's out as possible and wasn't trying to push in myself..
