Soviet Campaign

Will the Soviet Campaign be like the ones such as the Normandy Operation Market Garden etc in format where you unlock missions or like a series of skirmishes in the skirmish game with scar?  And will it includes scenarios where Soviets vs Panzer Elite vs Ostheer vs Wehrmacht?  And what is the estimated time to time when it will come out around?

No one knows nothing...neither developers I think.

Campaign is not the priority now.

We can't say when it'll be finished, but we know what the content will be, there's been plenty of discussion internally going back to before the Soviets were even out.

They'll be full blown missions like in the regular SP game, and I believe it will be primarily be Soviets vs Ostheer and vice versa.)

How is the Battle of Berlin going to look like, will you guys use the same multiplayer 8p map Berlin 1945 with some edits?  How will the battle for Reichstag be like?  Destroying Flak36/38s, garrisoned troops inside the Reichstag?  I even think it should include a manpower point on the top of the roof, so you could replace german flag with soviet and own the building itself like they did back then.

For the sniper ace I think best setting to start off is in the Urban (not industrial) part of Stalingrad at night, take place 1942 ish.  Throwing out some suggestions.

There is a map based on the movie "Enemies At The Gate". That should work for the sniper mission :D

There's heavy traffic behind the scenes..

Seems like the campaigns are slanted much more to the allies.  Looks like 5 outta 6 of them and Russian campaigns. Dont you think the Germans deserve a little more love?

In that picture, it'd be 3 and 3.

Some campaign names/scenarios leave room for interpreting, don't you think? There'll be two Soviet campaigns, two Ostheer ones and two of a third, mixed kind.

I guess so, but you'd think "Downfall" and "The Long 900-Seige" seem more like OH Campaigns While Sniper Ace and Liberation are more Soviet?

The public has seen enough, I don't want to make future announcements useless ;)
