something Stopping me from moding EF?

I know for the most part what I am doing when moding, but any changes, wheather it be new units or abblities do not show up in game. I was just wondering is there something blocking me from moding the files like in Blitzkrieg?

I know what I am doing is right, I even got a friend to set up a new unit, and it did not work. He is really knowledgeable about moding. Even he was at a loss after hours of trying diffrent things(weapon changes, upgrades, new units...) everything we did wont show up in game. But corsix says that we have altered the files, which is why I am at a loss that its not working.

Any feedback on how yo get around this would be very helpful.

We are one of the best modding teams around so keep an eye on every person who downloads EF... we do not like people modding our mod so when someone tries it triggers the alarm and this happens to the poor modder who wants to touch our files :P.



Jokes aside, could you describe what steps you follow to add a unit? Also, if you are using your own shorcut to run EF, could you post the target line here?
