More excited about Ostheer than COHII Approximate release date?

Ok, I just donated to help with this awesome mod.  I am honestly more excitied about this communities developments particularly in regards to the upcoming Ostheer expansion than I am for COHII.  Any word on the realease date or an approximation? 

IIRC they are aiming for the end of the year???

Couldn't be soon enough!  If they need Beta Testers where do I sign up?

Well after the eastern front tournament Im sure there are going to be more than enough beta testers now :P. Honestly I dont believe they are looking for beta testers atm. Although I dont actually know for sure as Im not a dev so who knows ;)

I am in the same position. But donation will be next month maybe.
I will not ask when it will be released, cuz I know from my own experience that in this "bussines" things are never going according the plan.
Always there is something to change, to rebalance, to redesign and etc.

Seems realistic.

Closed beta won't be too far off really. Couple months and I think OH will be in a generally good shape. Release to public would be nice by Christmas.

Naa campaign is coming post-Ostheer. That's probably going to be mid-2013.

you dont think so? i at least will be content to wait, especially because iirc it has the snow that lord van dalen has been working on!

AFAIK it doesnt have snow maps. And its only balance changes, its not like new material is being released.

RMC can't be fine tuned at this point in time. Priorities are in other locations

It has been redesigned but Ostheer was handed to us.

Yeah RMC actually received quite a lot of changes ages back. We just can't balance them further unless we get a hold of a certain something.

Probably Leather Pants or a certain model. The latter is most likely :P

Oh... RMC.. this is EASTERN FRONT and everything for this must front have highest level of priority.

LOL just because its the eastern front doesnt mean every single idea must be shot down and the devs or balancers cant focus their attention elsewhere. Obviously Ostheer is important but they can do other things too. And what happens when the eastern front is done? Do we just sit here? Obviously not

I said that EF must have highest priority and didnt said that anything else wouldnt be done, just it must be after the highest priority tasks, not before them.

I know u said that. Im saying they can do things at the same time and multi task rather than just do one ting at a time.

I definitely am more excited about Ostheer than COH2.  Maybe you devs can just rell us about the progress. Like units are fully well implemented in the game and all?

I am not a Dev but I work with them. THe Dev team would like to have OH out in some form by early next year. A lot of work needs to be done. I believe the Dev Team wants to publish around the time of some historically significant date. My hope is for around the time the Siege of Leningrad was broken.

What???? Next year, when our world is going to come to an end on 21 December 2012, NOOOOOOoooooo!!! This is madness, I will die in regret knowing I will never get the chance to play my favorite mod when our world has comes to an end!  :'(

I hope they made the as stable as possible, I anticipated CoHII, but the Ostheer is probably more significant than ever. Cause we see along its development for all these years. Oh yeah, wish you all have a good moon cake festival, go out and get yourself a sweet moon cake for the occasion  ;D

I guess he meant the official release date (i think such thing is still a myth), but the beta would come earlier.
