Lag Issue

Hello....

I have this problem...
My Company of Heroes game runs flawlessly on my PC (It has the recommended specs to run the game... or even better because I have an 1 GB graphics card and 4 GB of Memory), But by the time I installed the mod it began lagging. It is somehow tolerable when I play with the Allied but it is at its worst if I choose the Soviets. I tried setting the graphics to its lowest but same problem occur.


I cant think of any possible solutions because I am not that good with computers.

Any help would do... Thanks... Great Mod Anyway.

Could you post your PC specs?

I have a similar issue as TS. No problems playing CoH or any other game at 1920 x 1200 whatsoever. I have ToV installed. Whenever I start a game in the EF mod, it starts lagging within 30 seconds of starting a new game. Heavy disk activity which stops as soon as I quit the game.

My PC Specs.

Intel i5-2500k + Z68 mobo
16 GB RAM
128 GB SSD
Radeon 4870 1 GB Video Card.
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 - 64 Bit

Lower settings, for fullerms' problem, turn off 10+ browsers tabs, etc... And about greywhite91's problem, maybe he should turn off or close virtual LAN progams like Hamachi, Tunngle or Wippien. Hope it helps.

I would not recommend to use a SSD to install and run games :-\. Also, try to not use Ultra on the graphics settings tab.

I am running at custom settings, which has been working fine with the original CoH. Anything else I can look into?

It doesn't matter if it is custom, please make sure all your settings are high at most.

I found something interesting, which might help with the troubleshooting. The game sometimes loads with the "old" (the one with the german officer) menu screen. The game crashes when I get this menu screen. When it loads with the new "EF" screen, I have no problems. I always use the EF launcher to start the EF mod.

When the game loads with the menu screen shown below, I have no problems.




However, when the game loads with this menu screen, it is guaranteed to crash with a lot of disk activity. Why does the game load different menu screens?  :(

Your hint sounds weird, but I cannot wonder why it would be a problem... maybe we should add the WIP pic of the OH soldier in 1.7 to replace the CoH background.

Intel Core i7 3,80 Ghz
Nvidia Goforce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5
stoage 232 SSD drive and a other SSD
Intel Motherboard Does t care much in gaming
16GB ram
And i got only 7 FPS per second nice mod but bad FPS Bye PLZ REPLY !
