How to prioritize the use of a weapon of longer range?

Guys, does anyone know how to make a group of soldiers to attack using only the weapon that he has greater distance? I made a weapon with range 45, but the soldiers until they approach the range 35 to use another weapon unnecessary.

I think that when you give an attack order, the unit moves up until it can attack with it's main weapon (i.e. rifles in a rifle squad). If you hang them just inside that long-range weapon's range, but dont give an attack order, they will just peck away with that weapon.

yeah. but I wonder is there a way to change the main weapon to avoid this problem the approach unnecessary. I wanted to change the priority of the gun attack using Corsix.

Make sure you have a spotter in LOS of the target. Most squads have a LOS ~25 to 35.

LOS where is this?

LOS means line of sight. You should be able to find this info in corsix or one of the Stats sites associated with CoH.

did not work to increase the sight 45 on outer radius. How do I do now?

I made the same thing in a little mod of mine, you'll need to create rifles with 45 range or reduce the long range weapon's range. Or you could take EF's route and give the other soldiers in the squad 0 dmg, X range weapons with no animations (ergo, they just stand in place and do nothing).
