Greetings.

This time we present you our new website, our new Maps Video and our new Ultimate Guide.

On June 22nd, 1941, five million axis soldiers crossed the borders into the Soviet Union, beginning the largest, most ferocious and bloodiest theatre of war in history. This is the Ostheer.

Oh, good major! A collar is not in Russian style, but very good! Ok! And music is good!
All very nice, but only the KB-2 in 1944 ...
Good work, in wrong direction. The main problem is a techtree and a list of units. A visual part is wonderful.

Nice news but I knew the maps before the news XP I translated the names !

Personally I'm a big fan of the "direction" and will wait to see the Ultimate Guide before I judge the techtree, units etc.

Great stuff, would have liked to see a bit more of the KV-2, but nay mind, also nice to see the Elefant wandering about in there too.
Gah my map dint make it in, to be fair all those that made it in seem much more professional haha.

Website looking very snazzy now guys, I think this is my favorite update, not that I really made a list or anything...

Really like the guide aswell, everything looking promising.

Just one question though, where is the SU-85?
Have you decided not to include it, or just forgot to put it in?

I talked to a moddb guy via email yesterday, because our sites stats were frozen. He said that the mass assault on our page caused the system to collapse. They only fixed it today.

i got 2 questions about the guide: will the maxim not be included and wont the soviets be able to secure resources?

Aye, I was also wondering about how they will secure sectors

actually i am kinda hoping they cant secure sectors, i personally think it does not really fit the feel of the red army and it adds another level of both variety and difficulty to the soviets

after just watching that-"Taster-vid" Man i can't wait!Eastern Front will definately fill in the Gaps that the last (i won't say which)the last release left!...

When will the guide have a localized page?

We will release the mod through as many mirrors as possible.

I can host one of mirrors, i have own web page and account on polish web hosting service chomikuj.pl which allows free download.

thats a good question

well beacuse the conscripts don't take pop-cap it does not seem soo unbelivable, cuse i think it was mostly conscripts.

Obviously it was set up for the trailer. But it is definitely possible, although manpower and time would be better spent on things other than producing hundreds of conscripts.

Please don't reply here, it makes me think there's another update... My poor heart just canna take any more!

That brings me to this question..

Question how much manpower does a conscript unit cost?

I'd also be interested to see some of the projected unit costs for the game, just for thinking's sake.

But I also know the eruption of "OMG SO OP/UP" on the forums for everything on the list.  EVERYTHING. 

Unit costs are flip-flopping all the time as we try to find a decent balance. Even something which we think is a perfect balance now may completely change after the Beta.

Conscripts are currently around 200 MP for 8 men.

Sweet.  Seems about right.

Oh, and the Obligatory: 
OMG SO OP SO OP THIS IS RIDICULOUS HOW COULD THE RUSSIANS BE SO OP THE (fill in favorite doc/army) CAN'T COUNTER THIS BS.

Can Russians Reinforce?  In the design doc, it did say the infantry could not retreat, so I was wondering if they can reinforce also.

Russians can still reinforce, yes.  Technically, they can still retreat too, you just need to do it manually (no magical button that makes them run back to base)
