Russian's fighting with the germans?

Hey i was wondering if it would be possible to have the soviets be able to play with the germans like in early ww2(until hitler broke the pact with stalin) like if you could incorporate a mode to where you can. I know that this takes alot of work and you guys are working hard with the othseer and other mod related stuff. but i just thought it would be some food for thought and maybe a cool idea.

Also instead of making a new thread will there be new maps with the othseer update?(not cause i'm bored of the ones you got just wondering if there will be) If there will be could you make stuff like Leningrad. I love Leningrad so Mucccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh  ;D ;D ;D

I do not think that would be such a good idea. On the one hand, the Soviets never really fought side to side with the Germans and secondly, they have never fought the other Allies before they fought against the Germans.


In addition, the work would be much too large.

There won't be another map like Leningrad. It stays as a single oasis for comp stompers, but future Maps will all be balanced pvp maps.

Soviets and Germans never fought side by side. Not sure what conspiracy theory you read but the terms of the pact were a NAP (Non-Aggression Pact [I won't attack you you don't attack me])

That said, like maxi restated, this stuff is easy to read on search and has been discussed before. There will not be mixed teams. (PE with Soviets VS Wehr with Amis)

Also covered by maxi, maps in the future are geared for PvP play, not camping or compstomping. You may download custom maps, make your own, or play vCoh comp maps if you chose to do so.
