A jeep is a recon vehicle to detect snipers. Soviets have command squad and tons of infantry to do that job (spotter, T90, flares, ...)

In addition no more units will be added for soviets.

Also, about adding new units, I think jeeps are out of our scope because they wouldn't fit as reward units(IMO).

Hey before you lock it can you answer my quick question. When a sniper shoots Danko in the CS (and obviously dies), does the CS lose the ability to detect ???.

And I didnt know flares could detect :P. When was this implemented ???. Could help with counter snipes :D

Flares reveal units in the FOW, including Cloaked IIRC.

The T90 has an increased detection range, making it a nice tool to hunt down snipers.

Danko himself has an increased sight and detection range, if you snipe him you lose both.

AFAIK we removed the camo detection before releasing the ability, so Flares should not reveal camo'ed units.

If Danko is killed, you lose all the granted vet bonuses(off and def) and all the earned abilities(barrage and charge). But once he returns to the field the aforementioned stuff is available.

As we know if the whole squad is killed, besides losing the global vet bonus, you also lose the upkeep bonus granted by vet levels.

EDIT:
Lol... forgot to clarify the main point... yes, when Danko dies the detection is nerfed as well, not completely removed because the bodyguards have a very small detection radius but you can say they are blind ;D.
