EF games are greyed out

Hey

like the title says EF games are greyed out in the lobby just like the normal vcoh games. Cant join by invitation either.
Shouldnt be anything wrong with the installers, cause I got this after installing from the updater and the full client (after deinstallation)
Any ideas?

It seems that there were crucial files like FactionFix.dll missing from the full 1.6 installer.

Here's what you do:

Uninstall EF

Install EF Version 1.5
Patch up to 1.52
Patch up to 1.6

Enjoy!

You MAY want to get an opinion from an expert *COUGH BB* but I THINK this is the correct solution because it seems like this is the complaint from a lot of people.

well Killar tried it with the same installer, and it worked for him and like mentioned above I first tried it through updating with the launcher

What might occur if you have 1.5 base it may take you directly to 1.6. This won't work.

Killar had 1.52 (Unless he rage-uninstalled it. Damn snowmen) and it would have given him the patch.

Maybe blackbishop can help you beyond this. I'm not a tech-genius. Only relaying what I hear from others.

Youve got me wrong. I also used fullinstaller, and this one was tested by killar

Neither patch update nor full installer is working for cireva. I have no problems if i use both ways so i think the problem is somewhere else.

IMO you should uninstall EF, then go to CoH directory and delete Eastern_Front folder if present. Then install the new full version:

You were right I still had this folder, uninstalled and installed full installer. Still games are greyed out. :(

Any other idea?

mmm... if you already deleted the EF folder, reinstalled and got the same result, it could mean:

1. Besides removing the folder, the old module file was kept.


2. Check if you have content in "Company of Heroes\WW2\DataAttrib".


3. You are using a skin pack or sound pack.

For the #2 and #3, you need to remove them. For #1 you need to uninstall EF, make sure Eastern_Front folder and Eastern_Front.module don't exist, otherwise delete them, and reinstall EF.
