Soviet Howitzer and "Stubby Propaganda" Artillery Piece

I don't know the technical names for both of these, but I want to know the difference between both and how I can use the "Stubby" artillery.

Thanks.

The, as you put it, "Stubby" arty is basically a 100-some-odd range stuh in an immobile emplacement. The Soviet Howitzer is a normal howitzer that fires a very different barrage; instead of 6 semi-accurate shells, it fires ~12 in a huge blanket of fire (you're lucky if they all strike in the same sector).

M1938 M-30 (regular Howitzer) and OBR.1927 (stubby Howitzer)... for future reference :P

OBR is granted through the Propaganda doctrine, it's an effective Anti-Infantry emplacement with a short range.

OBR is really effective when enemy doesn't move. If you encounter enemy OBR try to KEEP MOVING!
