Chat Feedback

Please post your feedback relating the ingame chat here.

Known Issues:
* No translations.
* Word-wrapping (new lines) is not that excellent.
* Chat feels laggy
* Remember Login Doesn't work

Suggestions:
* Auto login
* "Beep" on message received.
* Total user count online
* Private Messages
* Rename to Chat instead of Login.

Needs to remember login info correctly. Needs an auto-login function. Needs a sound option for messages.

Great, now I run out of feedback...

Just one left, a bit too laggy...
Decrease it maybe?

- Different colours for chat members: only needs 2 different colours, one for youself and one for the rest of the chat members.

Would be nice to see a number of people online as well. (19) etc.

i would also like to have the option like the ingame chat whispering (this would need at least the 3rd and last needed colour)

chat lag is horrible. Sometimes you think you crashed.

I cannot login... I am sure that there is not wrong letters in my nick or password.

Could you PM your password? There might be a specific problem with a character you have in.

Thank you for the help, problem is now fixed. Server side issue, no client update required. Login and enjoy.

Should probably rename "Login" to "Chat", since a lot of people seem to completely ignore the button.

Colors should be added to resemble the badges of the devs, admins, balancers, mappers etc to kinda distinguish certain folk from others, like gold for donors for example.

I agree Login needs to be renamed to "Chat"

I dont think you need to add colors :P. Just makes things..........strange IMO :P

Agree with Fish aka Hooker aka Jäger  ;D No need for all the color rainbow bs imo, too many colors would just mess with the overview making it look messy and strange. As suggested allready, 1 color for yourself and 1 for the rest of the chat peepz. Move the login buttom abit closer to the other buttoms. it looks kinda random placed atm (ordnung muss sein)

Maybe just put them all in a row? That might make it look nice :P. Its like the buttons are segregated right now :P. BTW whats the point of the view progress button ???

When you have chat up and you close the Main EF page (the one with the four buttons and the picture) the Chat also closes. Can this be changed ???.

Also when I tried opening chat first and then starting EF, there seems to be a problem :P. I haven't tried it again but it might be a weird problem :P. Just thought I'd let you know :)

Just tried it and it worked just fine.

It would be nice to display the CURRENT time in the chat, since the timestamps are currently rather pointless unless you're actually in that timezone. An option to change the timezone would be better again.

sometimes i have the problem when i close the chat the launcher crached

My launcher crashed twice when I log in into chat.

Yeah, recently I got this problem too.
