Will "Rise of the Snowmen" be required for 1.6 installation?

Just wondering if you can install the upcoming 1.6 patch without The Snowmen Update.

Why wouldn't you want this snowman game? Its not like you have to play it  :P

If you download the update from [IP address redacted] to [IP address redacted], no. If you download [IP address redacted] full, yes.

That can be done in PvP as well. It was supposed to be fixed in the patch that was going to be released a couple of days after the x-mas patch XD.

When you say the map will be removed do you mean the mini game is going away or you're giving it a new map ???

I fear the game mode is going to be removed. But why? It's still winter, why shouldn't you defend your fir trees off-Christmas? I'm for keeping it, just remove that bunker tree. :)

Christmas is over, so it will be removed with the upcoming patch. At the next Christmas it might return or a different "present" might be added. Who knows..
