What happened to the EF computer AI?

Last time I played Eastern Front the Jagdtiger was in the game and the computer AI was 10 times harder. Why did the AI get changed? Is there an EF AI mod? Here's what I remember from before..

Hard and expert AI were extremely difficult to beat
Hard and expert AI had higher resource income without territory
Hard and expert AI teched faster to tanks
AI spammed lots more tanks and infantry

The new AI spams 57mm/paks/marders to the point where tanks aren't an option :/ I miss all the tank on tank action from previous EF AI.

All I can say to contain myself is that you should play PVP. It's much more fun that way regardless what you say about skirmish. Computers use the same strats, same placements, make irrational decisions and I don't care if you go up against experts, they're easy to win by simply out-micro-ing them.

That's all I'll say.

You can be sure robotnik will try to improve EF's AI once he get some free time for us :D!

Yah, Ai coding is no kindergarden takes some time :P.

Whats QFT stand for?

And is it just me or has the forums been having problems ???. I keep getting this 500 Internal Error message :(

it IS having problems. i havent been able to get on for 3 days, and i cant get to the reply page either. the error looks like this-

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Server seems to be back in action. BTW it would be nice if AI focused on T2 infantry spam and fewer tanks rather than Tank Spam later in the game.

The server isn't fully active but it's been brought up. It was caused by a problem on the server's side. Full Reply and New Topic aren't restored yet but their working on it.

IDK about T2 spam for Americans :/ Dozens of MGs and Mortars everywhere just borders on annoying and ridiculous

Actually when I said T2, I had strelky in mind.

Oh :P. Maybe more strelky and TH would be better. When the AI tries using AT gun it locks downin the weirdest places :P

In a 2v2 I had one of my enemies dropped. His AI decided to spam AT guns against me. I must have killed 8 crews collectively (Didn't get around to killing the guns because the my mate and I were busy trying to hold off full assaults on the other side of the map.)

Maybe AI shouldn't be allowed to touch AT guns :3

^ kinda what i was thinking, but its a little to much. which army is spamming the AT guns?

yeah i escpecially noticed it one time on red ball express. they had like 50 (i had no popcap on) i rarely play comp though so i wouldnt worry about it.

But everyone else who plays vs comp will have concerns about it. Wher AI actually makes a decent amount of AT guns compared to other armies. PE doesn't make enough AT IMO. Once you get a M8 it's gameover. SU AI made a few more than it needs IMO

robotnik did great work with ef AI. its way better than coh-AI, but i noticed the "ATG-spam"-problem too. wehr-AI only builds up ATGs if t2 is teched up. if u kill the ATG, wehr comp builds a new one...
