any tips on how to take down turtling brits?

just wondering. i usually arty them to deaths door and them welcome them in with a tank rush. any tips?

Tank rush? :D
Brits can tech up to tanks quicker than any fraction ingame and emplacements and trenches are counters to a vechicle rush.
Get yourself some MP44 and kill all of their infantry or capture a trench (any granades will do) and that noob Brit is fckd.
Just dont run straight into an MG emplacement (flank) dont drive your tanks straight into PIATs+BRENs or 17lbs emplacements and if your attacking a bofors with infantry, get in close.

So many of my teammates do this b/c they think panthers are "Epic win, super vehicles" Then they get destroyed and they rage quit :P

Blitz doctrine is good vs turtle brits. Cloaked Storms with shrecks can do serious dmg and Tiger and StuH can make minced meat of emplacements ;D

its just there not invincible, especially against weapons made to destroy tanks.

I agree. Panthers are good AT and formidable AI but against dedicated AT (57mm, 17 pdr, Captured shreck :-X) ,they should fall back a bit. Unless you charge in and have something to destory it with. Like V1, arty, or firestorm :D

Panthers are not a good option for AI. Sure you can swamp engineers but your typical panther should be built for a armored response. A Panther can decimate Shermans, Cromwells, and Fireflies easily (Provided you keep at range.) You get a MG42 gunner at vet 2 but it isn't as affective as other tanks devoted to anti-infantry measures, particularly the Ostwind because of it's high velocity/high reload on it's rounds and the Panzer IV because of it's excellent splash damage.

are ostwinds the best AI tank/vehicle? i know pumas do a lot of damage to infantry, its just they get stick bombed and die easily. do i just not micro well enough?

Versus all infantry except Airborne Infantry with RRs and Tank Hunters, assuming proper micro, ACs are king.  Then Pumas.  Then Ostwinds.  Then StuHs, unless you are facing a noob blobber or a Brit.  And finally the Wirble, which comes in last place.

Versus Airborne Infantry with RRs, Ostwinds are your only choice, because only the Ostwind has the range to somewhat kite the RRs, and even then its hard.  Tank Hunters PTRDs can still be reasonably kited by the other vehicles, but its still hard.

Why not just use STG44?

flamer-pios (especially with vet) are very powerfull against brits  ;D

another useful tip! Use AT Grenades of PE against brits emplacments 3 of 'em unman one MG, Bofors, 17P, 25P, mortar just everything.

Just spam vet2/3 grens with shreks. Easy mode from there.

....because if you read, he was asking about AI vehicles in the post above.  And StG44s get strafed.

I actaully use the PE's Luftwaffe doctrine, get fallschmjagers, and then deploy behind their defenses. Once i destroy/ broken their defenses, I often follow up with PzIV support tanks with the armor and Mg upgrade, and then rapid fire my way through any infantry blobs or lone machine guns.
Don't try to arty them, they do it much better, and also, Tank destroyers is easily countered by 17 pounders or Sherman Fireflies.

i like to hold down m1 but not too much because u reload slower if u unload gun
