worst in-game fails

so i was just wondering if anyone would like to post some of their worst moments during battles here. it doesn't have to be a replay, descriptions are fine.
I'll start (obviously) :P so it was probably during a game on semois when i was playing as the Wehrmacht terror doctrine. i decided to use a V1, but since it takes a long time to arrive, so i drove my custom ordered tiger ace straight into the line of fire. needless to say, it didnt survive. :(

My first time playing Brits on skirmish. I didn't know what the captain did so after building an AT gun and a Bofor I left him next to the emplacements.

The comp sends a Henshel attack run and my bofor magically gunned them all down :D. I thought this was great until one plane slammed into my FHQ truck and another slammed directly into my captain :'(. I didn't build captains after that for a while :-\

worst fail for me was when i clicked my riflemen to move right in front of a tank. needless to say, the carrion birds were having boneless meat that night

Worst in game fail was me and 3 other players. One and I were both panzer elite. Allies were both soviets. We got pushed back and got powned. Worst in game fail was that they tank rushed my base, but it took them 3 tank rushes to bring down my base. I had only tank busters, panthers, sometimes hetzers, and a jagdpanther. They lost an IS-3, at least 8 t34s, and at least 4 su-85s. I still lost, but fail that they lost 13+ tanks to bring down a total of about 5 tanks. They lost more tanks, but that was only cause my teammate made a henschel run.

I once was playing on Dulciar and my teammate was gong crazy with his 105 barages. At some point a panther was trying to kill my rangers and rifleman. It tried to rush it and was almost sucessful but my teammates 105 howitzer blew everyone up >:(

Also on Achelous River I had PE and my partner had Wher terror. I tried attacking his mg and he dropped a firestorm that hit my PE squad and tank :'(. Later A rifleman squad was decapping my point so I sent 2 PE squads to get rid of them. He drops another firestorm killing everone >:(. AND I was trying to destroy a OP near his base with my PE squad and guess what. He drops ANOTHER firestorm on it, killing my squad >:(  :'( >:(. That was the most FF I've ever experienced.

I called in a V1 on that EF map with the huge hill (Halbe?). I had all my forces holding the massive hill and had a spotter in the enemy base and targeted it there but because the hill is so massive it blocked the V1 on its approach and vaporised my entire army half the map away from where I targeted it  >:(.

Does tech problem count? In the 3th or 4th automatch I played Werh, he was Brits, he used bike first I used 2 inf section blah blah blah, I won that match since he quited after 30'. After that the CoH told me that I won a SKIRMISH. Really really dont know why ???
And also the glider glitch is still here in 2.602! On automatch Semois, my opponent played Brits and his glider stucked on the air in the rear of the map, even ostwind can do anything with it >:(

Katyusha fail. I tried to destroy 3 stugs ( heavily damaged), so I wen for Katyusha salvo. 3 of them opened fire and... well, half of the rockets missed completely, half of the 2nd half hit the church and collapsed it ( with my vet3 Strelky inside), the rest of rockets killed a lot of allied conscripts... and only one german who get killed was german sniper, who had chosen wong building to camp...

Drove a Vamp truck, a scout car, a mortar half track, and a Marder into 3 groups of Rangers with 2 AT weapons each.

It was a massacre, I didn't see them, and I payed the price for not scouting.

I tried to hunt down a MHT on Semois. He had no AT and I had a Bren Carrier with MMG. Some how it got stuck (WTF?) b/w the buildings near the SW side of the town. His PG utterly destroyed it. And to and insult to injury his MHT was attacking my bren while all of this happened :'(

I wanted to set up a commando IED near a locked down Marder and it squished all of them in less than 1sec.

i told my mate not to blob units while my unit blob was obliterated by a firestorm :P

well idk if you'l count a fail from when i played another mod but i'll tell it anyways.
i was in blitzkrieg just trying it out, and build a cromwell command tank and send it to counter the enemy pumas, of course i assumed it was a cromwell and was like "wtf why isn't this thing firing it's gunn, is the turret stuck? this is a terrible mod"...then "oh...oh um er um".
It's like thinking you're picking up a sword to fight another swordsman when in fact you've just picked up some seaweed.

Worst in game fail was when we sent in 3 king tigers expecting to surprise the enemy. Americans use landminds and at guns. it was super effective

I've used King Tiger vs five angry and hungry shermans...

In one of my recent matches i placed a teller mine, my PGs where to close when it went of under a katjusha rocket....i lost  a whole Vet 3 PG squad....i still won though 8)

Once I built 2 snipers and forgot I had them. I realized it and sent them to help pick off guards. Then 2 KV-1's came over to where my snipers were and my ally seends a StuG. The snipers were boxed in b/w the tanks and couldn't seem to move away(WTF?)

Then a Assault Enigineer squad comes over and somehow detects them. My snipers try shooting them and miss (Double WTF). The Assault Engineers then shoot and kill them :'( :'(

another horrible in game fail is I was using a Tiger and a few Stormtroopers with Panzerschrecks. There were 2 squads of them, with STGs and 1 panzerschreck. Them and a Tiger killed 2 IS-2s, wtf?
Another in game fail was I was playing someone in cheat mod. We both were using cheats, but a limited amount of times, so it was basically a match of surprise. I was playing Americans, but the Axis player accidentally gave me a Tiger and I won lol.

I was on acheleous river and I was trying to stop the enemy AI from reparing a bridge on my weak flank I managed to build some defences but when they repared the bridge they unleasehed arty on me and hence I lost the battle  :-[  :-X

So what was your fail - being unable to build up a proper army or playing bridge maps?

one time i was playing whermacht terror and i had the king tiger right? well i tried to tank rush but my stinkin' allies got in the way (on the bridge)and im trying to get aroud him when the at guns get to me and my king tiger is gone. i decide to try to continue the charge, but i cant get past the KT hull. then, while all my tanks are stuck on the bridge, a engineer squad comes up and blows the whole bridge. i didnt play a bridge map for weeks.

Thus stealthattack1 learned to to get off of achelous river ;D

I like bridge maps, and pizza.
but about bridge maps, all you need to do is be defensive, unless you're panzer elite or us. If you're those 2 factions, then "charge at dawn to gain a yard," and
"leave your life in fortune's hands"

also, when you play with cpus, disregard friendly fire, just blow the crap out of bridges with demolitions (if americans) or goliaths (if axis, I think pe can have goliaths too through one of the t1 halftracks)

Funkwagen Vampire :P. Bridge Maps can be fun :D. Especially if you have several stukas or artillery units. Just to watch the explosions occur is fun within itself ;D

LOL Figured as much ^^. We all like it, some of us in EF just wont admit it ;D

once played against a buddy on that bridgemap,don't know what it's called in english, translated from german it would be "Riverbank at the industrial fields". well i defended myself desperatly from his german tanks and build up my on tanks, 1 pershing and 4 upgunned sherms, send them over and they get stuck on the bridge becouse of a freakin deserted PaK :D next thing i saw is the bridge collapsing after a V1 smashed into it :D

That's why you destroy enemy guns you won't pick up, but you don't need to destroy enemy weapons that won't be a hindrance to your men.

Yeah but it takes forever for s tsnk to destroy a unmanned gun :'(
