[1.501] SublimeYauz vs IIEXITIIIStzefenfu Replay Review

Well with 1.502 coming, I'd like to ask for a replay review of this 1.501 match before the patch comes.  It seems Stzefenfu used a fast support center strategy to rape me, similar to American 4ES.  Aside from going the other side of the map, which I am reluctant to do since Wehr caps so slowly, I am clueless about how to beat this strat.  Unlike American 4ES start which has to rely on engineers, his snipers are more well protected by CS and Ingenery.

Also, during this game, I think I discovered that when you countersnipe a Soviet sniper, even upgraded, it only gives 8 CP?

your opponent placed his mines very effectively i have to say. the point where two of your volks squads were hit by mines and sniped was genius on his part.
I thought motorcycles are good counter to snipers right?
yeah i saw it was 8xp from killing his sniper.

idk maybe a volks to draw out where the snipers are then a wide flank with a motorcycle to chase the sniper? maybe a pio squad to repair the motorcycle in action.

Seems like he is pretty invincible early on when surrounded by mines. Even a pio mining sweeper team will get sniped.

But he will loose many soldier power and has only Engis to cap. Maybe you leave his snipers alone and cap around him. Killing some engineers on the way. That will hurt him more than feeding his snipers vet.

He will go for fast T70 so best you counter it with pumas and skipping t2. In the meantime you can try to counter snipe him hiding your sniper in the volks squad.

just watched the replay... its exactly the same strat i used on karachev vs sylver before... in most of my games i now skip t1 and go fast t2 for double snip since russ snipers can cloak now. its very dangerous start/strategy but effectiv. i think u need bike+conter-sniper to beat these double snipers... medic bunkers help to get sniped casualties back... i know its really hard to conter...

I always thought sniper casualties can't be picked up by medics?
That's why sniper could be helpful against zombie grens.

Spieel is correct. Snipers don't leave wounded.
