AI artillery

I don't know if this is vanilla coh or EF but the enemy AI artillery exactly knows where your infantry is in the fog of war. If your inf remains undetected it will still target your inf for some reason.
Anyone else expienced this before?

Yeah, that's a known problem. You can't compare AI with real players though, engine wise it's able to do Chuck Norris moves.

The expert AI seems to be extremely good at this, even with more common units like AT guns. Has the expert AI gained a "no fog of war" ability or something?

I think it does it to make the game harder since your playing Expert AI. Forcing you to keep on the move :P

The ai has can see all units on the map at all times, so it usually knows where the best place to fire arty at, ive tried adding a little randomness to it though so that it does miss sometimes

and the soviet howitzer hits anyway because of the big spread of the projectiles.

AI mortars are also able to see your cloaked Snipers, I had a test game against AI yesterday and my Soviet Sniper was hidden behind a wall, fully cloaked, no enemy unit near it. The Wehrmacht mortar kept attacking my Sniper, whilst other units didn't pay attention to him. I didn't see this before, even not for other factions.

Heat seeking 81mm mortar rounds ;D. Im glad that robotnik is trying to fix it alittle :D
