Can the AVS-36 be the early suppressing weapon for the Guards ?

How do you guys think about giving the Guard squads 2 AVS-36 as starting weapons ? As far as i know, the AVS-36 was produced since the 1930s and had been used in the Winter war and the early of WW2 ( in 1941 maybe after that). It could be used as covering fire like the BAR because it's automatic but unlike the BAR it only 15 rounds mag and lighter and beside its recoil controlling it was pretty bad. The AVS-36 was later replaced by the semi-auto rifle SVT-40, because it has a much more accuracy and simpler mechanism. So i think if it's possible, the guard could have 4 Mosins and 2 AVS-36 when upgrde with the SVT-40 pack, 2 AVS-36s and 2 Mosins will be replaced with 4 SVT-40s.

Not going to happen because .... just wait for the patch  ;)

This weapon was suggested a year ago for the naval infantry but failed.

Yeah mate I used to suggest a lot of this stuff, particularly for the Naval infantry. I even remember trying to get the Fedorov Avtomat in game, cause I know that it was used in WW2, but some people said it was more of a WW1 weapon if anything (which it certainly is)

I don't really feel that the guards need another weapon choice right now. I mean, they already have a shock guards upgrade and two different weapon pack options.

I think he means to replace their weapon choice. Not add anothr :P

The svt40 and the avs36 looks almost the same. You can always pretend they are avs36 rifles firing in semi automatic :D

( You could select right? Or was this one of this kind of only automatic rifles XD)

I use my imagination all the the time playing coh. I Often pretend my knight cross holders for example are the guys from the Sven Hassel books for example ;)

I imagine Brits as an Elf/Dwarf fraction (long range combat, emplacements). Germans are necromancers and US are spammable humans.
