An RMC idea I had on the can

Topics I get to comment on are getting thin so I thought Id share an Idea I had involving the RMC. I know that the devs are busy and that this wouldnt happen for a long time if at all here it goes.

First off with the RMC one of the better aspects of their gamestyle is that they can move at normal speed through unoccupied territory. Second they have a glider to make up for their lack of field HQs, you could use one of their trucks but id rather risk a glider which is less expensive.

With these things(and couple others) in mind I suggest that the RMC be changed to a Static Tbuilding based option for the Brits. This would include the usual bells and whistles that come with other such factions, like OPs to secure points. They would retain their usual defenses and the glider as a field HQ, though it would only be able to produce things like sappers, rifle sections, raiders and maybe lieutenants

Thats all for now if I forgot anything ill be sure to mention it later in the discussion.

Interesting. I never liked the trucks in the first place.

You dont have to get HQ trucks outside your base sector. ::)
Its also hard to call Gliders forward HQs. They have little HP. Its like calling BREN Carrier a heavy tank.

Re: An RMC idea I had on the can

I guess I forgot to mention this, I know a lot of ppl dont play against the CPU but I do (kinda have to), but when you play against the CPU and they use the brits no matter on what difficulty they seem to be a huge liability. This is mostly because they will try to post a truck as close to the front as they can, which becomes an easy target, making them the weakest link almost everytime. I know they dont use the RMC but it would be fun to play against them.

@Paciat I would call a field HQ because of its ability to deploy instantly and anywhere in your territory, as opposed to taking valuable time to set up a field HQ and having to do so at a predetermined locale. Obviously it would have to be cheapened quite a bit since it wouldnt produce vehicles.

RMC is an add-on for Brits; this means we are never going to give them normal HQs or forward HQs.

RMC is ruled by the half of the brits' rules, removing the other half will make it a new faction something that is not intended.

Field support truck costs 185MP. How much cheaper do you want it to get?
If you want gliders just go Commandos.

AH come on man. Nah thats ok, but could you at least make it so the CPU will sometimes use RMC (unless they cant use it properly) it would make things interesting.

Re: An RMC idea I had on the can

Maybe the Commando raiders could get that gun? IDK how hard that is to program in the game but it would make the tommy raidrs a bit more unique  ;D considering they use thompsons. Not very special :P.

Re: An RMC idea I had on the can

How about adding an M3 Grant tank? Could be better than a Cromwell, or replace the M10 as the Brit tank killer.

Re: An RMC idea I had on the can

Ive always wanted to use an M3

But you should start your own suggestion instead of piggy backing mine, you'll get more recognition that way especially if you're serious about it ;D

Re: An RMC idea I had on the can

Hows about the Boys anti-tank rifle instead of the bulky PIAT(s) would look a lot sleaker for the SAS? And a dedicated sniper working alone and can cloak with the Enfield scoped for the RMC as i hardly ever upgrade to recon section as i prefer the Bren gun because its much more anti infantry friendly. Oh and 375 man power for infantry sections is just way too much i think, the iron cross holders are 360 manpower.... need i say more
