It's clear that school's much more important but I have no problem with school/learning, my marks are stable and so I think I have some time to spare on mapping.
Because of what you say is an awesome mapping job, there are high exspectations to me to get things done fast and with a high level of quality, I just don't want to disappoint anyone so I had to announce my lack of time.

its one of my most wanted maps after the new berlin map :D

Pictures will be brought here when I finish a whole new area of the map, what I did since the last update is doing the Eastern railroad part of the map. Recreting maps is a not very creative work because I'm forced to redo things that have already been made, no room for my own ideas.
But don't worry, I will finish this map, it only needs more time than other maps.

Guys, I decided to leave the Eastern Front for at least a while. I may come back this year, but you won't see me around very often from now on. Don't worry, I will still continue working on the translation and Lehrter Bahnhof. See you then.

Some people have personal affairs to attend to :P. Others need a break since this comp work is strenous on the brain :P. Some ppl just get tired of EF and decide to leave. But I honestly wouldn't know why Maxi left. Ask someone else if you must know :P

Mapping is hard stuff. I'm sure he started seeing the stamp and splat tools in his dreams or something. If I saw that I'm pretty sure I'd take a break too rofl

Well he is one of our best mapper currently. Would be a very big loss to loose him completly

Yea actually we have a bit of a job for him. He'd be able to do it a lot faster and with more effective detail than us. I'll try to contact him.

Sorry, but currently other projects have priority. Nevertheless, my last exam was today so I can afford much more time for mapping now. Additionally, my holidays begin in one week..  ;)

Dann kannst Du die Map/Karte fertigstellen, weil einige Stellen noch nicht bebaut sind.
Ich kann Dir dazu auch noch diese Modelle geben:
Statische Modelle die Christian (MrScruff) für diese Map/Karte gemacht hat.

- Das SdKfz 263 ist allerdings nicht statisch! Das ist "spielbar"!

Ich bin/war sein bester Freund, und habe vor einigen Monaten seinen PC (incl. Wohunhg etc.) übernommen!
Nach dem ich den PC durchstöbert habe, und erst einmal verstehen musste was er so getrieben hat, dachte ich mir ich gebe euch alles an Modellen und Karten was ich finden kann. Das ist kein Fake, und habe auch schon mit BurroDiablo Kontakt aufgenommen.

Es ist großartig zu hören, dass du Christians Dateien gefunden und dich dazu entschieden hast, uns diese zur Verfügung zu stellen. Damit tust du der gesamten COH-Welt einen großen Gefallen!
Die Karte werde ich selbstverständlich fertig stellen, ich werde diese Aufgabe mit größtem Respekt ausführen.
In Zukunft wende dich vertrauensvoll an mich, ich kläre das dann alles mit dem Rest des Entwicklerteams.
Wenn das wirklich wahr ist, was ich noch nicht wirklich glauben kann, dann ist das eine Sensation!

This is most definitely fantastic and unexpected. A great way to make sure Christian continues to influence our mod, he was really looking forward to starting work on the Ostheer models I remember. Any files we can have, models, maps, no matter if they are unfinished, would be gratefully received. Can't thank you enough for getting in contact with us, Frank! :)

Es freut mich das Ihr die Modelle, Karten etc. haben möchtet.
Ich lade euch morgen schon mal diese drei Modelle und die Karte vom Lehrter Bahnhof hoch.
Es gibt aber sicherlich noch viel mehr Dinge hier die Ihr noch bekommen werdet.

We have an early design of the sdkfz. 263 from Scruff, but it is not UVMapped and doesn't have wheels. I'm really surprised he finished it :o!

I wonder if the new Jagdtiger is among these stuff :-\.

I think we mentioned a few times, internally at least, that his death was a massive blow to us, emotionally and productively. He worked exceptionally fast, had he still been alive, Ostheer would have been finished many months ago.

Yeah followed the mod already before it was released and was also sad about his death. Hopefully we can speed some things up with this gift :)

wow. i know that ive only been part of this forum for about 6 months at the most, but, guys, this is truly amazing. its like a writer that didnt finish a book, and then, years later, after his death, the ending was found in an attic. Vielen Dank Ellipirelli.
