Age Of Heroes!

It's a british movie. This movie about the foundation of the SAS. Not great war movie but good enough to spend a night to watch and eat pop corn until you get sick of it ;D. Sean Bean, my favourite guy is in this movie. He was also in "Sharpe", it's a good film too.

Man, i was hoping this would be some kind of combination of Age Of Empires and Company Of Heroes. :(

I was thinking the same thing. Everybody knows that game needs a reboot, and not the cartoony AoE Online.

OT: Is it like an over-the-top action movie like Commando?

Its again one of the movies about good allies fighting evil germans. To show that germans are the evil ones, they are SS troops bothering and killing civilians. Always the same, getting boring if you ask me

I hear that, man. I'm really sick of these documentaries that peg the Allies as heroes, and the Axis as the enemy. It would be the other way around if the Axis won...

And yeah, Age Of Empires Online looks shit.

Iam actually quite happy to se this. I HATE AGE OF EMPIRE! XD ( All my friends were playing that when I was playing wc2 yeah<3)

I watched the trailer. Hmm what to say. Its nothing new. We have seen this many times before. We know how its ends and some of the gun sounds were lame XD

Overall I would say a 3/5 by the look of the trailer. Like Stavka88 said. If you are bored some night and have nothing to do well, see the movie ^^

Nazis are never the good guys! Im talking about the generic plp that fought in the war. You know that "nazi" is a party member, right? (When talking about "nazis attacked here and there" means the SS not the Wehrmacht)

Don´t know if Rabe was a nazi but he was arrested when he came back to germany by the gestapo. He nearly died in complete poverty but a fund raising started in china to save him because of his actions.

So he was a true hero saving all these plp!

Anybody see that Captain America movie?

Yet another movie about superhero Americans bashing around Germans falsely called Nazis, despite probably most being conscripted against their will!  ::)

Hehehe, as soon as WWII was ended Captain America suddenly became about battling the evils of Communisim :D

Well, he is Captain America, so it makes sense for him to fight Americas enemies. ;) They are really shitty films, though. Have you seen Spoonys reviews?

Well. I werent directly serious with saying that the nazis were the good ones. ( Jesus sarcasm is hard on the internet XD)

Iam actually looking forward for the new Captain America movie. The old ones suck. Big time. This scene is a good example.

Yes! I knew it, some people will think it's a combination of the AoE and CoH! ;D I thought about it too when I heard name the first time, Age of Heroes, WTF is that?
It's like the most war movies right now, allied soldiers blah blah blah about the honnor and courage then shooting ;D.
The real good one I saw is the one about red army last stand in... nowhere. The most weird is those soldiers in that movie dont dig trenchs they dig foxholes! They fight against lots of germans some tanks, lots of arty and some luffwaffe guys then they all die ;D. Redguard and Joe give me a lot of movies but none of them is that one.
I'm still looking for it, pls pm me the example if you think it's. (PS: It's not about the "all-dead" recon soviet unit)

Well, at least it's a better name than Company Of Empires. ;D

Also, n00b question: What's the difference between a trench and a foxhole?

I just saw City of Heros, and I agree with whoever posted that that it is a good movie. Theres really no fighting, but yet it one of the best war movies. And yes, the Nazis are the "good guys" but not how you think....
