Is there a difference between the ketten booby trap and the gren booby trap?

There most certainly is. THe Ket BT is a weaker version of the PG BT. THe ket BT is improved when PG BT is activated but seems to still be weaker then The PG BT. The ket BT also seems to be affected by how the BT is set. (THere is sometimes an offset of the incendiary charge from the SP that occasionally misses the target squad entirely. Maybe the offset direction is opposite the point the Ket is in when it setsup the BT. I don't know).

Remember the recharge rate for kets BT ability is veeerrrryyy long. Use Defensive Ops/ return to base  option to overcome this.

I think the Ketten BT has just one detonation but I'm not quite sure.

After a booby trap is activated there is only one detonation. the  BT then needs reset. However the BT icon continues to appear on the SP for several seconds after it has detonated ~7-10 seconds).

Moderators: don't forget to fix the Partisan BT bug for next patch. I would really like to see how Urban Doctrine works with v1.4.xxxx thank you.

The ket booby trap is a very slow detonating, single large explosion that leaves fire on the ground after it explodes. The PG booby trap explodes faster, multiple times and is slightly weaker and doesn't leave fire. Ketty booby traps aren't improved when you unlock the PG power. They're fairly useless since they take so long to detonate.

Partisans won't have booby traps next patch. They've undergone several changes.

I love using booby traps. It really shuts up the irritating conscripts trying to take your High FP. Also conscripts trying to douse the flame on their head while they are roasted alive is humorous. The Kettenkrad booby traps suck though.
