Comete, I hate them! what do yu think about them?

I really want to talk about these tanks because actually I think that they are OP, we have too shout about 10 times with a panzershrek to destroy them and I think thats too much! >:(
On the top of that a (full life) comete destroy a (full life) Tiger
Maybe i were not lucky at this game but I am really upset!!!
what do yu think about them?

Well I don't know about you but when I attack a Comet (please call it such, comete should be capitalized at minimum) with Panzerschrecks I aim for the side and rear armor. It will take quite a few shots to bring one down from the front, mainly cause its like a weaker IS-2. Its designed to be a Universal Heavy tank for the Brits while killing of their TD (the Firefly) or to be that IS-2 for the RMC. It was designed to beat the Tiger in RL and with proper micro it can easily do that. If you properly maneuver your Tiger it should easily survive and destroy the Comet since it has less Armor. Luck has little to do with your conundrum, its all about micro.

im sorry im not an arrogant person by any stretch, the comet is like the brit super tank, while not truly being a super tank. so engage it as though its a tiger or better and you will get better results.
ideally a pak At gun supported by screks will achieve better success that even a lot of screks

For the next update we have tweaked the Achilles a little bit, we removed the AP shells but gave the benefits that the Firefly gets when is near a CCT. This could help RMC due to the Firefly no longer exists on RMC.

About the Comet, i think the unit is OK, or at least this is the first topic about it being OP (that i remember ^^).

But, Bishop doesn't that mean that they now have a Firefly-esque TD and a Super Tank, both of which are powered up by the CCT? I mean granted this is supposed to be an offensive faction, but its like spitting in the face of the original Brits and telling them, "haha you are useless now nobody wants to use you cause we got guys without trenches, but who can move through enemy territory with reg. speed and a TD and a super tank, while you only get one"

For now we have it as the firefly had, don't know if will be toned down the granted bonii though. Besides both tanks come from different trucks.

IMO would be a completely OP combo if both tanks come from the same truck.

Not to hard to deploy both trucks, Matter of fact i usually get the Leftenant later than than Captain so I can bring in the Armor truck in first and then get the support truck (sometimes I don't even get the Support one cause to me its sort of useless, only two units if i recall, would be nice if we added that Universal Carrier Wasp to it though ;) )

Getting T3 with some Achilles' and then T4 for Comets and CCT takes an epic amount of fuel. It's not something that's easily achievable.

And thats why i just go T4  ;D

I find Comets pretty crap actually. I much prefer Fireflies.

I like the comet it has good range and good surviability. good everything but not great at anything at the same time.

Yes fireflies is a tank which you let behind infantry because they got a long range, whereas Comet is a tank to push ennemies defence!

There is a sense to continuation this topic?. Comet have fine armor, fine range and fine fire power, i don't see nothing that'd be OP. gilioni just improve your micro and will be fine :).
