[1.40] Killar (Wehr/Blitz) vs. Yauz (Soviet/Armor)

Long and awesome game on Langres. Veeeery close till the end.

Reminds me somehow of the game vs. Snugz. Much forward and back fighting. When loosing his IS3 Yauz was gg but destroyed somehow my tiger with his last KV85. That gave him some time to build more tanks. Epic tank battles with 1 Tiger, Grens and Atguns against 5 or more (i feld like that) KV85.

This time mates dont only download, say something!  :)

PS: it makes no fun anymore to write here on the forum when i have to load the page 1 million times  :P

Just watched the replay from your POV.  The KV85s' damage against infantry was ridiculous.  I think you deserved the win.

Pretty good game to watch. Some critical errors on both sides though. Yau kept blobbing early on even against StuHs and assault nades which let Killar just dominate the map. Also, a pretty bad error in judgement charging that Tiger with the IS3 with a Pak around and double shrek grens standing right there. Killar didn't really have enough support for the Tiger. A panther should've found it's way to the field somehow. Yau seized the opportunity brilliantly once he gained the upper hand though which won the game.

KV-85s move too fast IMO. For such a heavy tank they shouldn't be so quick. Also, shock guards = OP, even though they didn't really have a say on the outcome.

When are you coming back to the balance team Yau?

I don't think they are. Regardless, they are faster than they should be. Their tradeoff with T34s is toughness/slowness vs low cost/speed. Right now they're an easy choice. If KV1s weren't a piece of crap it'd be an obvious choice which one to get. Right now everyone uses KV85s.

Same top speed (4) as a Tiger but less acceleration.
T-34 has +50% speed but that dosnt mather much. With an anti shreck, anti flank Churchill armor and -15% recived damage they are as you said an easy choice and are as easy to repair as T-34.

I dont mind their speed but the fact that they as easy to repair as T-34 seems wierd. IMO KV dosnt really need that -15% bonus and should cost ~30MP/10 fuel more. (Heavy price for a heavy tank) It can get a small (+50HP) bonus in return.

I also think speed is better. If the KV85 were as slow as the KV1 I would easily go with the T-34s. However, the KV85 has SO much health that it currently outweighs its disadvantages of slightly slower speed.

As far as I know, the T-34 has the same -15% damage modifier as the KVs except with sherman armour instead of churchill.

Both KVs have the same health/armour as a churchill with -15% received damage. Same movement stats for the KV1 KV85 as the churchill. well KV85 has speed 4 same as a tiger.

T34s have sherman armour and -15% received penetration, not damage

Yeah it's no longer an issue. KVs have been slightly adjusted in our internal version.
