Re: Russian transport

I think it'd be interesting to give the Soviets and OH troop trucks.

Anybody remember in Call of Duty: United Offensive on the first Soviet level where you got into a truck to ride to the frontlines at Kursk and everything was blowing up and getting shot around you?

You are right, one panzershreck and it'd be over for the truck. But atleast it'd be faster than HT and perhaps a higher survival rate.

Re: Russian transport

I can think of any number of ways vehicular transport could be used in vCoH or EF but don't think it would add much to the Game. A prime mover/88 combo would be great if it could be well modelled and be more balanced than the Nashorn too.
I think the Zis Ambulance/reinforce-OPs more than compensate for the lack of organic Transport in the Sov Faction.

soviet dont need that they already do that too easily than all factions and faster

Maybe not mobile reinforcement, but still I like the idea of a truck that can get troops to the front faster.

I'm pretty sure Soviets move as fast as other soldiers, yet all other factions get transport for their men. Why not the USSR? Just make it cheap, crappy and prone to exploding with one shreck hit.

They move faster. They hahe a 2nd retreat point ant free charge abilities.
Why not USRR you ask? Becouse its industry was entirely focused on building tanks and stopped building trucks in 1942. Soviet army had very poor logistical support, its tanks carried much more fuel becouse of that, even some elite guards divisions were cavalry. US leand leased trucks were never frontline units.

Re: Russian transport

have a look at the BA 30 armoured car or halftrack which carried troops into the battlefield
