Dear Eastern Front Modders

First off let me say you guys are fucking amazing, your mods EF and NHC alone and together are fucking outstanding, I hope you guys never stop modding. I understand that coming out with new mods and patches takes along time and we appreciate all your dedication and hard work towards them.

But.. I have 2 questions for you guys and hopefully looking forward to 2 answers.

1) What is the estimated release for the patch for EF so its comptabile with 2.602, I'm literally having withdrawls here.. hehe.

2) Have you guys ever considered constructing a mod for adding maybe one or two more factions in China and Japan?

I've looked over some other mods and there are a few who have had the idea, some are dead and some are still being made (Modern Combat mod)

I wish both mods were compatible but I guess it's pretty much impossible.

2) Yes, we have considered this. Right after implementing the martian invaders (Allies), the Krieg Masters (a new German faction), the goblins (Axis, including a Balrog-super power to breach some copyrights) and the Rebel Alliance (Allies) we'll head off to create the Japanese. ETA 2018.

It wasn't a stupid question; it was a question that we've been asked repeatedly. I just tried to answer it in a way that serves both the purpose of providing an accurate answer (assuming you've got a sense for irony) and the purpose of keeping me amused. I'm not trying to scare anyone away ;).

Rebel Alliance would be awesome, can't wait cope! Would you be able to make this a priority over the others? While the goblins sound unique, the Krieg masters will probably just be another rehashed German side. Unless they ride dinosaurs, which would be interesting. :P

Yeah, give us dinosaurs, that would be the most awesome feauture right after exploding dogs, Maus and of course Seemes Orange Raiders.  :D

I'm all in for dinosaurs - but Dino D-Day has gotten so bad reviews that I wouldn't buy it unless it's getting patched and improved.

To be honest, I voted against including the Rebel Alliance (I was in favor of the Empire because of their walkers) but Rizz insisted on creating Rebels.

I didn't mean to ask a 'stupid question' I'm new to these forums so I don't really know whats been asked and what hasn't been, the reason why I bothered to ask is because I really like all of your work and it would be interesting to see if you guys had other plans for anything else, sorry to waste your time.

There are two teams working to bring the Far Eastern Front to CoH. And we aren't belong those teams. I think you should wait for them ;).

That's why I said I don't regard your question as being stupid. On the contrary, you're among the few people who manage to use proper English in their first post (and that's the sad truth!). If I had considered your question to be stupid, I would have posted a link to the forum-search. I just tried to make the best out of it by having fun answering your question. I'm not trying to scare you off or to make fun of you, but to make fun of the situation while still answering your question ;) - that way, everyone wins :).
