CoH Patch 2.602 and EF?

today is the day^^
coh gets its final patch... but whats about ef? does 1.31 works on this patch? effects the balancing changes in ef or have we wait for the 1.40 update?

Where will this "final" CoH update officially published?

I turned off their annoying auto-update thing (the relic downloader) long time ago, and I'd rather download it as a patch.

I'd rather have it as a download file instead of the in-game downloader too. I hope they do a separate download somewhere (or someone does).

It's exciting stuff though.

I also disabled Relic Downloader. All the patches are available for individual download.

I'm not entirely sure how it works but I believe even if the patch is released for vCoH EF 1.31 will continue to work in exactly the same way, since all its files are separate - even for those of original unchanged units. It doesn't really matter anyway because 1.4 is ready for release barring some minor adjustments and you won't have to wait long.

Where is to fuck patch 2.602? Today is 24th May  >:(. How long i have to wait? Ok...ok :). Just kidding but it should be now, don't you think. What is relic doing? They all died in end of world in 21th May :P.

You gonna end up with serious recrew issues (maybe even start issues!) with 2.602 with 1.31.

1.40 should probably be released within 36 hours after 2.602 is released.

Right now i cannot log in to CoH, when i was plaing vanilla (something new for me) it says that you lost connetion with CoH or something like that, my friend had this too (now he is in BK).

Fuck, i must reinstall entire CoH, and then download again EF and BK, because i unstalled installation folder. Life is brutal.

It's something of impossible...16 MB downloaded in 30 minutes...why??  :(

Maybe because all CoH community is in download?

Strange... it tells me that my version is not up to date but that there is no patch available. :(

I'm downloading from here, and the speed is 250 kbps  ;D ;D ;D

It took 10, or even less, minutes to download 156 mb patch 2.601-2.602

I'm not going to install it, until EF 1.4 comes out.

to someone who has it downloaded is Steel Pact 6 player or 8 I kept seeing conflicting reports on this hopefully 8 like coho.

No need to wait. Without 1.4 EF will have certain issues. But you can install 1.31, 2.602, and then 1.4 without "breaking" your EF install; if that's what you're afraid of.

I'm happily downloading at 3kb/s xD - then i can test what i did 3 hours ago :D

I've updated the FactionFix/Teamweapon fix just now. We should be ready for take off soon.

steel pact currently doesnt work in 1.31 with patch 2.602

Since i installed the patch 2.602.I cant even play EF every map locks up right after ingenery comes out of HQ.I had no problem before this what so ever.So i uninstalled  EF going to try it again.Don't know why i was updated to current version of EF

That's easy - EF is not yet compatible with the 2.602. So you should wait 'till 1.4 is published.

Oh so i'm not alone.

Anybody who has patched to 2.602 will have problems with EF. Patch 1.4 will rectify this.

1.4 Patch will most likely be released sometime tomorrow/today (25th) when everything is in order.

What will be the best way to update.  Update 2.601 to 2.601 then do the EF update or do the 1.4 and then 2.602. I am downloading 2.602 now but don't want to install until 1.4 is out and there are no confirmed major issues.
