[[IP address redacted]] Russian Air Strafe Ability

I believe it is OP. Infantry die instantly, and tanks and vehicles are killed too easily with it. It also seems to hit units even if they are camoflaged. The damage might not be so bad if not for the fact that it sends in so many planes so frequently. Please weaken it.

It cost 200 Muni IIRC and comes at the bottom of the tree. Of Course it's supposed to be powerful. That's almost like complaining a King Tiger is too powerful because it owns tanks and infantry.

And the IL-2 has a long cooldown time on top of it's munition cost, which is a rare sight in the Soviet faction anyway.

Re: [[IP address redacted]] Russian Air Strafe Ability

It's perhaps a little OP. It actually only costs 150MU in a faction that doesn't really need it. The cooldown isn't that long. Though it doesn't actually do much damage to tanks, it's pretty good against infantry. It only calls in a few planes though. Maybe it's been changed in the next patch, which is the only version I've seen in awhile.

Re: [[IP address redacted]] Russian Air Strafe Ability

It is a little OP vs infantry and rather lackluster vs tanks after the bombs were replaced by rockets

A good idea would be to tone down the infantry killing and upgrade the anti tank damage
Soviet is OP

Re: [[IP address redacted]] Russian Air Strafe Ability

I think you should upgrade the AntiTank part, but not the infantry(Or maybe for balance nerf it). I seen some panthers survive a whole attack once, which kinda defects the purpose.
The Russians think there sooo tough, wait till the Ostheer comes...

This ability is rather more useful to deploy killing blow on the enemy when he's severly wounded or to begin an offensive with nice and annoying bombing and flying all around.

Actually it costs only 150 and comes in late game where soviets already got tanks, at guns, mortars and a low munitions income it's good like it is now.

+1. After all, IL-2s are supposed to be a decent anti-armor mostly, but all they can do in that respect is kill what's already dead, or about to die anyway. If you think, it's gonna be OP, just increase the price/cool-down to match the effectiveness. Just don't make it suck.
