vehicles cross my narrow bridges :(

Hello everyone,

I'm making a map (my first one, yay) and I've run into a rather big problem. Vehicles are able to drive over my narrow bridges (the ones named 'bailey bridge blablabla'). Is there some way to prevent vehicles from being able to do this because those bridges are meant as, well, footbridges.
Thanks in advance for help.

Ok, I've never heard of this before. Which vehicles are able to cross the bridge? Only small ones or also tanks?
Sure you mean bailey bridge proto with the barrels beneath it. Usually it should work as a normal footbridge. Could you send me your map please, so I can have a look at it?

I would put a picture, but I have no time. In ebps > gameplay  use move_blocker2. Put 2 of those on each side of the infantry bridges entrances, so there is only room for infantry to cross. That's my solution, though there may be a more elegant one.

Can I upload it straight from my computer?

Yes, while writing a new reply, go to additional options and choose attach.
Mors Indecepta

Might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything. Let alone yourself...

Re: vehicles cross my narrow bridges :(

Ok, so you used the object of the predestroyed footbridge? Maybe that is the flaw and you should use the normal one and do this:
- Click on "Edit state" in the toolbar to the right
- Select "Add"
- Select "DCA State: bridge"
- Double-click on the text that has just appeared
- Select "wrecked" instead of "normal".

Now you have a (hopefully) working, predestroyed footbridge.

And about that engine shed: The railway tracks are not that favourable for trains which want to turn either left or right :P
Try using a branch instead of this crossroad-like compilation of railroads. :)

I tried that, but whenever I load the map the bridge is not destroyed, even though it is set as it. And for the railroad, I know. This is a map that I made when I first found out about worldbuilder, and now that I know how to do things better, I'm redoing it. I just haven't gotten there yet. Thanks though.

I didn't use the proto ones, I used the other ones (no barrels underneath them, but support beams and such)
I'll send you the map.
