How to effectively use the T-70 tank?

I think the T-70 sucks. I have not really found an effective use for the T-70. What is the T-70 for? It's not too resistant to the Panzerfaust. Know that I use T-34 or SU-85 as my main vehicle. But how to effectively use the T-70 vehicle? I think it's only good as infantry support against other infantry.

yeah I dont know why you would use t70 when the su-85 cost like 100 MP more and 25fuel? ???

Well it's supposed to be the Soviet counter-part to a T17 or Staghound... but it has very limited practicality... T-90s are better at Anti-Inf and SU-85s are better at Anti-Tank, T-70 is your go-between, not as good as the others but having both traits. (I.E The ability to take on Pumas and Infantry)

They're quite effective against MGs and units in buildings but overall a T90 or SU-85 is better depending on AI/AT you're going for. They can be a decent counter to a marder but other than that I don't really use them unless I'm suprised by vehicles and can't afford a SU-85 yet.

Previously they had a detection radius, so were useful to hunt snipers. Now the Soviets have other detector units so I'm not sure if they retain that ability.

The T90's gun is pretty much the PE AC's gun except with a longer burst and longer cooldown.  I've never heard complaints about PE AC's effectiveness.  Also, unlike the AC this thing is also immune to small arms fire too.  Just use it like an AC and kite if you see AT.

The T70 doesn't suck to me anymore. To me, it is a cheap but good infantry counter in the form of a vehicle. It is good at just taking in MG42 shots, defeating the halftrack and the armored car without the upgrades. The T-70 tank is my response to the Stug IV. Sounds stupid, doesn't it? What I do with the T70 is just circle the Stug IV. It CAN damage the Stug IV. Know the T70 is a good response ONLY against Heer cpus. There are reasons why the T-70 tank is not a good response against Stug IVs when you are playing against real Heer players. The 1st is they would not just let their Stug IV be circled and eventually killed. The 2nd, and most important is, the Stug IV should not be produced by a Heer player against the Soviets. They should get to Panthers as soon as possible.

The only thing I like about t70 is that its fast as hell!

It's good for killing any lightly armored vehicle, or to clear off Hmgs.
