new game modes,

sorry if this is a repeat, i havent seen this posted yet

But will there be more game modes like the Assault, Panzerkrieg, and Stonewall in ToV? and if so can you give us any insight, also will there be more or refined ideas like Direct fire?

At the moment, we are concentrating on implementing Soviets just for Classic Annhilation and Victory Points.

Just an idea but I think a sort of a Panzerkrieg, just for snipers would be kind of historic. Same idea as Panzerkrieg just with more sniper based scenarios, avoid roaming patrols taking out objectives that a sniper can do with out the aid of too much vehicles or ardy.

no not for ToV, for Eastern Front, all i know it that Panzerkrieg is a hit, i love it, and i know a bunch of people that play it all the time, (lets put it this way, i played it for 2 days and became lvl9, thats how often i played it)

so i was thinking of having the same thing just different, use of snipers or something.

It is always a possibility. Only problem is; due to a change in the hardcoding since the ToV patch, only people who own ToV will be able to play it.

Fine with me, the wait is just killing me though.

Hmm, I didn't know that, I thought you just needed the latest patch. Bet that pisses a few people off...

I'm sure 30 bucks is worth it to play your mod anyway.

Yeah, I think that anything with Scar coding from the current version needs ToV, to stop people literally copy-pasting the Operations into Skirmish.

yeah sniper warfare, that would be awesome! and it would fit in with Stalingrad so it could go pretty good with eastern front.  ;D not sure that this fits in with the discussion but how will the mod servers work? ??? cheers

If you have the Eastern Front open with RelicOnline, you will only see servers for the mod. Servers will be set up by set up by the community, the same way as you do in Company of Heroes.
