Somebody can explain, why some German squads speak "Yes, comrade"?

yeah they do, and it was prevalent in the language before soviet control of germany so it has nothing to do with communism.

It means friend

Kamerad means brother/comrade/friend of arms. Or it's just one of those german words which can't be translated ;D
