While trying to download patch 2.601............

I downloaded just the plain COH from Steam (so I dont have the disk) ,but when I try to download the 2.601 patch from a torrent so I could play EasternFront, an error message appers once the torrent is downloaded that goes something like this

  "A valad, secure version of Company of Heros could not be located"

I dont know what to do, so some help/sugestions would be great. Keep in mind that I am new to this forum and game.

If you have CoH on Steam you don't need to download any update, it is always up to date.

You can download & install EF, if you have an error while trying to run EF, please post your coh directory and if your OS is a 64 bits one.

Thanks for the reply. I asked a friend in school the same question later the next day, and he told me the same thing. It turned out I already had the latest version of the game. However, now that ive downoaded the mod, I have another problem. When I bring up the launcher for the mod, I click play and nothing happens. Its very strange. Hopefuly I can figure that out now.

Hopefully, someone else already did it ;).

reinstall the game then install  2.601  then EF

1 change your version to 2600  and try to install 2601  I think this should work.....

3 mean Import regedit
4 mean unlock all campaign
